All over the world governments have civil law that is different from common law.

There are as many kinds of common law as there are communities. Same with civil law if the community has civil law. But they are quite similar in some fundamental ways, because people are quite similar in fundamental ways - need air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, clothing, shelter.

Civil law becomes dictatorship by government. When the governing dictatorial body is wise, it is a strong government, beneficial to the people. When the governing dictatorial body is foolish, it harms the people.

When the common law group has wisdom and understanding, they use the people (jury) to judge how much harm or damage has been done in a case. Otherwise everybody is free. If the common law group is foolish, they judge cases foolishly hurting people of the group thereby.

Good civil law can organize the people for projects better than the common law can. An example of this is the civil law government of the United States being organized to fight the common law American Indians. The Indians were common law people with little civil law. No Indian could force another Indian to fight in a battle against U.S. soldiers. So, whenever an Indian thought he had enough fighting, he simply went home. The U.S. solder was not allowed to go home because of civil law.

This means that civil law has strength, but common law has freedom.

The United States of America has strength because it has civil law that is or can be overruled by common law. No matter how corrupt the civil law U.S. government becomes, the people can stop it using common law. The common law jury can override any law that the civil law government makes. But the civil law government can direct the people with any law up until the people bring common law into play.

Good combination, civil law ruled by common law.

The problem in America is, some government people have hidden the common law part from most of the people. The people don't realize that they can be free from governmental coercion using common law. But, the people are waking up.

It is time for the vigilant people of Russia to implement this kind of operation on the Russian Government. This way there won't have to be civil war every time some government idiot tries to make the people do absurd things, like Stalin did.

Get some of your people to study the history of the problems in Great Britain as the common law was being introduce into that country over a period of several hundred years. Look for the "Magna Carta." Then set it up in Russia, and all the other former Soviet Block counties.

Unfortunately, Adam and Eve separated from God and didn't obey his commandments.
As result, we don't have any more one family lineage, language, nation, tradition, culture etc.
Instead of love evil came to the world and created division between people and great chaos during the history.
As result, we have now many different countries, religions, cultures and traditions, and they are all in conflict because they don't know our Heavenly Father and can't look other people as brothers and sisters.
So, common laws really exist in our minds, in our spirits but because of evil history it's covered with a lot layers of evil history, hatred, selfishness, greed etc.

Common law only works for people who sincerely try to obey the Ten Commandments. The more that people are wicked and evil, the less common law will work for them, and the more civil law will take its place.

To find the best civil law/common law government combination for today (for any nation), take the laws in Exodus and Deuteronomy, and remove the Ceremonial Law from them.

I don't really agree with this. Common law exists since the fall of man In my opinion even in Cain and Abel's time. Well I think that it's the opposite. Civil law only exists because common law backs it. So in short Civil law isn't obeyed because some people don't follow the common law too. And that I think is the truth and will always be.
