Hey guys,

I paid out from deepbit today, because I had to switch there for a while due to BTCGuild having problems. I paid out almost 12 hours ago, still 0 confirmations. I purposely mined on it again for an hour so I could pay out again. The second payout was 8 hours after the first, and already has 10 confirmations. What's going on? Do I just have to wait longer or did I lose my BTC?

Thanks!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It sometimes takes a long period of time to gather confirmations. It is a P2P network, so make sure you have a good connection.

I find it strange that the second payment has already gotten 20+ confirmations now, while the first still has none. Shouldn't they get confirmed in order? Or at least all my transactions from before have.

Check the blockchain to see if it was actually processed.

I have the same problem but with a transaction with MTGox. It's taking strangely longer than usual. Anyone know what is up?

What I do is go here:
http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/
Then search the page for my address that the pool sends to. Lets you see you transaction waiting to be processed. As blocks click by, the priority should increase, and eventually get in a block. Once you have at least 1 confirmation, it will disappear  from the list.
