I agree the focus must be put on POS itself not music industry. There is many newcomers this year that don't even know what is the advantage of pos. BTC is still a gem to gem. Other knows there is many problems with it and that POS is solving some.

Now regarding 808. Under "normal" market conditions or on average 808 is the most consistant and profiting POS coin simple as that. Some knows it some doesn't. The price was suppressed not only related to the btc pump but because of at least another particular event that is ending. There is a likely scenario where the money must or should go back to 808 in a few days. I'm talking about 10 sats being cleaned in a blink  20 sats in 1-2 days max with an unknown peek and settling a bit above 25 sats. As a hint do you know many coins with this low market cap but still averaging 10btc as bids ? (15 peak few days ago)

I'm staking this coin and i today it staked but it says: generated but not accepted. I had that before.....does it mean that I won't get the staked coins and I have to wait again or is the stake not mature enough?

It means that someone else got the staking reward for this specific block. You will receive more at the second attempt. You can see how mature your coins are when you activate coin control under debug settings and go to "minting". I am also waiting for a reward for 18 days now, but 1 have <1M coins.

808 coin used in gambling websites would be great. I'm in the united states so gambling here is sadly illegal for the most part.

We really just need any website to accept 808 coins as payment for goods and services. Easier said than done though.

I really think 808 should stick to its knitting, the coin is music themed. Why would the gambling industry accept 808 as payment? There is no obvious connection between 808 and gambling as there is with some coins (The Billionaire Token). it takes either dollars or tremendous PR or both to change the image of a a coin.

A music related service idea sounds good
1) use 808 to pay for downloads of music, musicoin has something like this  https://www.musicoin.org/for-listeners
2) owners of $100 or more of 808 obtain access to a music repository
3) musicians download an API which allows them to a accept 808 coins as payment for booking engagements like what Viberate does

Are there are dev that would support any of these ideas?

I have also mentioned on the Discord that the 808 community should moderate the interest paid. 808% a year is not really sustainable. There is a long history of other ultra high interest rate coins declining to 1 sat when the platform finally collapses of its own weight. A coin can't exist solely for staking.

I completely agree with the two previous posts. Stay the course. This is a productive coin. We don't want it to fall into the depths of hell and have no one understand its purpose.

Why so many dumpers this week. People hate this coin and want to kill it? Stop dumping at 5 sats, that's so stupid. That's gonna drive the price down to 1 sat. Stop dumping people.

Totally agree.  IF this coin can partner with some music service like spotify or another service it will rise the public interest on it.

About the paid interest it should certainly be reduced over time, but with slow/moderated reductions to control inflation-.

Any changes to the apr to 808 will immediately cause this coin to become shit coin.

Look at tek coin, net coin, etc. All those crap proof of stake coins screwed up the apr and robbed investors and me our money because "fear" "inflation" etc. And none of their reduced apr worked in the end, the price of the coins is total garbage.

The value of money is based on interest paid out, in addition to how many people or businesses use the currency, if anything. Then there's stability of the code behind the coin.

I just made $7500. I post it on my twitter https://twitter.com/realjunsonchan/status/931925314250379264 every 8 days. All of you wanting to promote 808 coin need to promote my tweets regarding 808 coin so people can see the potential of it. It's a very good resource.

I already make great money, so the rest of it is for you the community.

If 808 coin ever goes down in apr for some crazed reason I'm abandoning immediately and taking my marketing efforts to my own coin. It's already helped hundreds of customers who bought my book on 808 coin change their lives and not worry about money anymore so I'm going to get very mad if anybody changes the apr to screw them over.

Don't change the apr. Focus on creating services that accept 808 coin, for anything.

Besides, the proof of stake difficulty is going to eventually rise to the point where it will take more than 8 days to stake anyway. That's what happened in sprouts (it takes double to triple the time to stake there).

I also wouldn't like to see a change in the APR as it has worked so well with 808 coin for over a year now. I also promote you're tweets my friend as they give people inspiration to keep staking and build on their 808 coin holdings to achieve the success you are now having with 808 coin. I myself have built my way up from only a small amount of 808 coins to a nice passive income. It all takes time to achieve success and patients which is what I have with any cryptocurrency. Yes I agree, soon it will start taking longer then the 8.08 days to earn a stake even with a good amount of 1 million 808 coins, soon it will be 2 million coins and so on as the staking weight will start to increase more and more. This is why I only ever sell 30% of my stakes I earn and keep the rest to build on my own staking weight.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

This is indeed true for the newcomers for this coin. It's a good opportunity to buy 808 and start staking especially if you have spare BTC to spend. On the other hand, people should realize that selling low will just bring the price of this coin to lower area and that move will just provide negative outcome in the long run. Stop dumping and try to promote this coin to different social channels.
