I think that the worst mistake to do when you gamble is trying to make big profits in short period of time. Wining in gamble comes with smart moves and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Being greedy will only lead to one result; an empty bankroll.

To be greedy is always bad, no matter in gambling or in other field, but with gambling you see the effect immediately. I consider gambling a good teacher in that regard, you can learn great lessons from your mistakes in gambling.

Yeah, gambling always give the gamblers lesson and also in gambling we did a lot of worst mistakes and sometime we learn and many time we don't learn. But it is other matter. Sure in gambling we lose because of greediness, in gambling we all have high greedy and hard to control it, even we try it but sure our worst mistake is coming when we cross our limit and get lose in gambling.    

Setting a limit is very importan, I agree. This limit shouldn't be over the amounht that you can afford to lose in one day and after you lose it, you shouldn't deposit on a gambling site again in the same day. Thus you'll be safe and you can gamble to your pleasure.

Set a limit and stop after lost it all or hit the target profit will be so hard to follow at first. But we have to force it in the hope soon or later we will be familiar with such method and can enjoy the game without the need to worry about the bad result that may occur at the end.

setting the limit is easy, it's actually following through that most people have a problem with. they fall into the mindset that because they lost, just rolling again with more cash will even their losses out (gamblers fallacy). it doesn't always work out, but the one time it does keeps them coming back because they either rolled away money they needed or can't handle the loss mentally. it's just a bad slippery slope to even set foot on.

Precisely, it is the majority that use gambling will certainly be minded that a defeat they got are beginning to profit. It may well be true, but if we can't learn well it's certainly gambling is conducted will be fatal. Gambling is not an easy game, in it we should be able to analyze well and should be able to control myself. If it is difficult for you to do it is definitely going to get a lot of losses
 

Analyzing and self-control are useless if you don’t have fate in this game. Gambling is pure luck and coming back every time after you have lost for many, that is what I call self destruction. My worst mistake I've ever made was when I gambled on a dice games I already won 0.06BTC during that day, but I still continued to play for thinking that I can make it 0.1BTC but in the end my 0.06BTC has been gone instead I got loss, stupid me

My biggest mistake was trying the Martingale strategy on a dice game. I started with a very small bet like 0.0001 Bitcoins. If you win you keep betting 0.0001 which means the winnings are very small if you lose, you double the bet.

I got on a long losing streak. At 10 losses in a row the bet got to 0.1024 Bitcoins which is starting to get to serious money. I had to stop before I lost my whole bankroll. I ended up losing a lot but not everything.

That is the risk of using martingale, at first it may seem like a method that could give you earnings, but you only need to lose a few times in a row before things begin to spiral out of control, this is why even if it is a popular strategy with gamblers is not recommended to use it for the very devastating effects that it can have in your bankroll.

No matters how hard we try to look from outside, still deep inside we wish that we didn't lose our money. I think, trying again and again when you have no gambling charm is far fatal than this. We always say what if after everything is over, maybe we should start accepting it because if the result would be a lose you might regret

I started gambling approximately one year ago. Actually I spend much less than 10% of what I make on gambling because I don't gamble every day, but when I do gamble I try to never go above (The amount I make per month) / 300 in one day. It works for me perfectly so, hopefully, I will be following this rule in the future too.

perfect moment to strike , it's just part of superstition i think. you can't really rely or believe on something like that to get luck and win. greedy aren't the only one thing that worst . people too early say that , while there is worse thing more than that. it's when you have a lot of debts because of gambling and you can't survive to pay it all then decide to end your beautiful life terribly.
