Even if it's illegal you don't have to be afraid of anything for the simple reason that no one knows that you hold and using bitcoins, unless you reveal it of course but this is never going to happen.

Yeah they don't know that your holding bitcoin so why need to be afraid? And I think for the future it will accept it in your country as   a legal currency .much better to start to save now so if the times come that your country legalized bitcoin you had available and I think when it is happen the price of bitcoin is much expensive than the price now.
If you really love bitcoin and it's illegal in your country go to other country that accept bitcoin and leave your country now choose what your heart want  Cheesy or if you don't want to go other country just hide your self that nobody can know that you own it.

As i am from country where bitcoin is stated to be a illegal currency so, its ok to earn form small services and signature campaign here and hold my bitcoins ?
I need some suggestions ?
I love bitcoin and i can't leave it !

Where you from?
I don't think bitcoin is illegal currency, may be your government not accept it and your country not use the bitcoin in official lever. So it don't mean that you say that bitcoin is illegal currency.
It is online currency, and most of the countries not accept it but instead of this people are using the bitcoin and invest in it.

I hope no body don't know where you are holding your bitcoins only if the person hacks your bitcoin wallets, i hope now a days many countries are accepting bitcoins, but not completely even you can exchanges and you can convert them into your own currency. Each and every country has some exchanges sites i hope. There you can exchange them.BTC

As long as they dont know that you are holding and earning a bitcoin you dont even need to worry about it , you'll be alright then because I think they don't care to some people that is secretly owning a bitcoin and also they don't even notice if you are doing it unless they have monitored your computer, or your phone and your online activities .

It is not illegal to hold bitcoin. The illegal is if you using bitcoin in illegal. It is normal to hold bitcoin because it is long term investment.
But if in your country bitcoin is illegal, it is illegal to hold bitcoin.

I think the legality or the rule on bitcoin will not be so important. because although it banned bitcoin. you can still use bitcoin

yes it is legal. we can keep as much as bitcoins in our personal wallets just keep your private key safe and no one will interfere in your work no government and no bank.but if you keep holding a lot of bitcoin like about 100Bitcoin for 10Years then it creates a type of market gap and it will effect the price too

He's not saying bitcoin is illegal generally. he's talking only about his country. you may don't know but some countries, govt and banks don't like bitcoin much and want that bitcoin should not be used in their county and their peoples.
so OP's simply mean that bitcoin is illegal in his country. but I think OP can still use bitcoin because govt can't really control bitcoin. and can't stop you to use bitcoin.

Don't try and reason with these people, just report their posts. They're just trying to increase their post count for their signature campaigns by answering bullshit without even reading the first post.

In OP's case, I would just take the necessary precautions to make sure that your ISP can't see that you're involved with Bitcoin.
Use a VPN to be on the safe side and if you want to 'withdraw' your Bitcoins, just do it via a Bitcoin debit card.

I think it is legal because we do pay fees when sending bitcoin to another wallet then the fees goes to the maintenance and also they bought the equipments with tax on it so all goes fair. Some say it is illegal because no one regulates it and they have some point on it but who cares as long as my conscience says I'm doing good and not involving with some blackmarket I still use bitcoin  Grin

I think some countries have given a straight forward statement about bitcoin some countries diclier it as a legal currency and now working of it to regulate it. while some countries have delear it as illegal currency and they have banned it in their countries. while some countries has yet not given any statement about bitcoin. so those countries who have banned it and consider it as illegal currency then it is illegal to use or hold bitcoin there and those who delea it legal so there it is legal to use or hold bitcoin. I think it is still legal there where the govt has yet not given any statement about bitcoin to hold or use bitcoin.

Agree, bitcoin can be integrated where you are, it won't be ban with a use of IP or anything. It can only be unusable once you remove your internet connection but it will not likely to happen in our generation since internet connection is one of the important thing we have because that's how most people earn money for a living so even your country ban bitcoin they can't control the worldwide access of it.

Apparently, it depends on where you live. Some countries, like North Korea and Russia, aren't so friendly towards Bitcoin. It certainly would be illegal to hold Bitcoin in one of these jurisdictions, under certain circumstances.

As of now no restriction has come from my government so far. I would say it is because of lack of awareness. I think rarely  few would know about btc and the users are very less compared to other countries. i wish btc should get spread in my country. More would become wealthy and the country would be at its class.

In my country, it is neither legal nor illegal and hence it's OK to earn or hold bitcoins. If it's illegal in any country, better exchange the btc earned into local currency and use them for the expense. the government is not going to say anything for using the local currency.

It may be true, but I see north korea and Russia does not have a policy that describes the user bitcoin, just that all countries in the world have yet to know closer about bitcoin. So all users of bitcoin anywhere using bitcoin illegal manner, for all countries in the world is not yet legalized bitcoin

I think, even if those countries do not know OP deviate bitcoin it was still wrong. Because we as citizens must comply with the rules that apply in our country. Moreover, when the country already has laws governing the restrictions on the use bitcoin. Although holding bitcoin is not illegal but according to state regulations in OP country it becomes illegal, friend. So inevitably OP should stop using bitcoin Sad

Earn, hold and exchange the BTC to your currency and send that to your bank account you have in your country. A lot can be done. Using BTC is not an illegal act as like other currencies. Exchange the BTC to your currency and use them.
