I think the price of bitcoin will still hit at 700 value before block halving because the price right now from 685 few days and now the price of bitcoin right now according to preev 696.7 so it means we are slowly increasing..
Did you mean $800? |

Price is at $700 at a moment, and its really good to see bitcoin touching that price once again, so I think next 24 to 48 hours will be very crucial and it will be interesting to see the price movement in next 2 days.

I expect price to rise over 1000 $, four years ago I wasn't here and I would love we to hit new record this time. That would be very interesting and exiting not just for me, for many people. I believe we have chance for that, and bitcoin already showed how big potential he have. Many great things happened in past year, many shops started to accept bitcoin, there was a lot of talking about who is interested in bitcoin (some governments, banks..).
I hope we can go high this time, higher then ever. And I hope once when we get there to stay there!

there was a lot of talking about who is interested in bitcoin (some governments, banks..).
They are here only to make a profit on the tech (to lower costs) and hate the bitcoin and the whole idea behind it. Same story for the governments, they are only frightend by the idea that people could transfer big amounts of cash around without them taking a chunk and call it "taxes". Don't see this "all time high" happening at all, we will go a bit higher (850-900) before the halving but after the first 12 hours we will see some minor dumps of people that sold there altcoins to be part of the halving but aren't seeing the spike they where waiting on. |

Im kinda excited and nervous this upcoming halving. Maybe price will rise during halving or the price will fall and I wanna now how much the price will rise in the coming halving. I hope that bitcoin will reach 1000$ and stabilize at 800$ after it and it is the minimum value but these prediction seems like a fantasy. Because of that im excited to what will really happen on bitcoin and how will it reach that point? Well only time will tell.

No it doesn't work that way. There will be no surge in price suddenly after halving occurs. It will gradually be dependent on the market at that moment and might get affected some days after the event happens. Although you should not wait for halving if you are into buying coins at the moment. |

7 more days and halving will officially start..
what would be the daily price of bitcoin until the day of halving. Lets start today.. bitcoin hit 697 today.
and what would be the price for tomorrow ? Is it going up or going down?
I think the price of bitcoin will going up increase up to $800 when the halving is come, or even more. But, by looking the price of bitcoin now, there is no significant raise today. |

A longer term view of BTC price is that it should do very well, go up a lot. I do not see BTC price getting much higher in the coming days/weeks because of all the stock (amount in circulation) of Bitcoin now dwarfs the 50% lower production. The halving will provide modest upward pressure, IMO, but not all that much. BTC price will depend more on demand.I am a "weak holder" of a percentage of my BTC (I am a strong holder of some). If it has a big spike up, I will cash some in. Some. |

On the actual day of halving, there will be no significant price increase or decrease from the price of the days before. There will be no significant price increase until a few weeks after the halving date. Then the price will rise significantly into the 1K+ maybe 2k+ range. There will be a lots of euphoria, followed by a big dump. Price will drop into the 400 - 500's and then will gradually rise and settle into 800 - 900's in a few months witht he general trend continuing upwards through the end of the year.
That is as far as my $2 used and partially damaged crystal ball can see.

I am eagerly waiting for an halving event as this is my first halving and I am really excited to see what end result will be , I hope efforts made to earn and hold this long will not go in vain.

Most of the price rise will happen in the 6 to 12 months after the halving. That was what happened three years ago. |

Most of the price rise will happen in the 6 to 12 months after the halving. That was what happened three years ago. Three years ago the price rose thanks to Mt.Gox bots bidding the price up. After the collapse of that exchange Bitcoin had been spiraling down for the total of two years (2014-2015)... Just a year ago the price was around $200 per coin |
