if we are talking about gambling, then luck definitely plays a bigger part than skill. i mean let's face it even experienced gamblers would admit that you have to be lucky most of the time to win. especially for games such as dice, or baccarat. even if you know how to read how the cards move, you still would be dependent on luck almost all the time

No you can't just be lucky when trading and you can guess what prices will be somewhat. You just have to analyze the market prices and find a behavior in one of them which is returning and then take advantage.

Being only lucky when trading is enough in my opinion,even you're buying in the most high peak of price at the month but if you have luckyness and the price suddenly increasing drastically then you can make profit from it,and the factors that make traders got profit is luckyness and analyzation skill regardless to any other factor

Being only lucky when trading is enough in my opinion,even you're buying in the most high peak of price at the month but if you have luckyness and the price suddenly increasing drastically then you can make profit from it,and the factors that make traders got profit is luckyness and analyzation skill regardless to any other factor

I would not rely on my luck if I were you, if you are a day trader and you are frequently trading for sure you will not succeed as your luck cannot be with you all the time because if that is the case we do not have to do our research anymore and just trade blindly they collect the profit.

In my humble opinion what really matters is skill. Since you can trade on the spread I don't see why even an amateur would loose in the long run. Just think about it, the only people that ever "lost" with Bitcoin are those who bought over 1100$, the rest of us had more than one chances to sell and profit. Now if you combine this with some propper skill there you have it, a profitable recipe.

well right skills is your main gun inside trading it will serve as your main resources in order to make good decision on how to place your entry and exit point but together with luck it will be more successful and more profitable in the end.

Im voting skill above luck all day any day. Skill is consistent and luck isn't, so skill weighs pretty heavy in trading where it's all about consistency.
Of course you need luck aswell which is why trading is so unpredictable at times though and why I don't trade so often.

Yes, both skill and luck are playing major roles for profit making in trading, but as you stated, I do not think luck is not that much important factor for the profits in trading in my perspective. Because, only with the skill we will be able to maximize the chances of getting profits from trading. So, significantly luck factor will loose its importance in trading.

To be honest my girlfriend always talks about good luck and bad luck and sometimes I am being infected with it and do rely on it also. Still I believe that it is skill that will take you to the higher possible status. Luck if not believed will not exist in a human being.
