Hi, did you installed Beta Kernel ? If not then instlal it and check again. Also in linux can take different clocks like propably more Overclocking in memory than windows. Check it.

Just switched from win10+claymore eth8.0 to mining OS and noticed that eth minig is a bit slower than win10. I have about 132.5 MH/S from 5 x rx470 in mining OS and 136.5 MH/S in win 10.How to fix speed?
Linux works differently then win10 Plus overclocking with bios mods will work differently too Most of claymore stuff is specifically made for win10 and optimized for it He puts it together for Linux but isn't as focused on it as his win10 builds Claymore did mention before in his thread that he prefers Windows. Meanwhile, in the ZEC world Optiminer prefers Linux.... Maybe it's just us that dont know how this optiminer fully works, but we had a big difference between zec claymore and optiminer. (280x: 256-265 on optiminer and 290-310 for zec claymore). I get around the same with Claymore 12.2 and Optiminer 1.7 however I see some power savings on Optiminer. I switched to Optiminer a few days ago because of memory leak issues in v12.2 (supposed to fixed) but Claymore said that he will be updating 12.3 soon to address the memory and -i issues. Optiminer 1.7, R9-Nano: 380-420, R9-390: 360-390, RX480: 280-290. (except for 390, Nano and 480 are with low power rom mods) Note: I usually avoid RX480s for ZEC, it performs better on ETH but since selling hash at Nicehash is now #2 at whattomine.com -- the RX480s have to work overtime. We just tested optiminer for 10 minutes and we had a performance lost on all our rigs with r9280x and 290x. Optiminer was about 7% less to use for the same power, so claymore zec is more profitable even with the fee. I cannot argue the rest since our 380x and 480 are mining ethereum atm.

Yep.
You should mine eth/etc if you have : RX470 / RX480 R9 380 and 380X
You should mine ZEC/ZCL if you have: R9 280X or propably HD ..... also

The Fury series GPUs with HBM (ie. FuryX, Nano) are blazing with ZEC mining. I think ZEC mining likes the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM)

Yep. 4.10rc3 Tell me that gpu are using and what are your clocks. Also did you tried to make bigger OC on memory to see if it will help ? Can you send me email to admin@simplemining.net ? I can check your options and see if i can do something about it ?

The calculation for weak processors is not at all correct ... the processor 15-30H / s monero does not get any money. Already, even the FX-4100 120Hs hardly gets 25,000 solutions for Nicehash. How do you configure the parameters of the miner for only one farm? Or create 10 mails for each type of miners? (In my opinion this is not a very good idea, if you change one parameter, all the rigs are restarted at once)

I'm trying to install simplemining OS on my new 64gb SSD but HDDRawcopy program keeps freezing in windows. When I click start, it runs for half a sec and then just freezes. Anyone have any ideas or how to fix this?
Edit: the sector is different everytime it freezes too
