I had the exact error at one of my rigs, had to reduce the Memory OC from +1000 to +900. Now it's almost stable, I mean it's restarting once at 2-3 days...
I don't have 1080, only 1080ti's, but +1000 for Memory in your case seems a lot.

Hello guys, I am also using SMOS, started a week back and just loving it. I am having 8 x RX570 cards and all working very good.
Just a small suggestion to the SMOS admin, I would love to see that watt option as we can see in Hiveos, which shows total watts consumed by GPUs.

That miner is CPU. We do not have cpu miners.

And the version for nvidia is curently BETA.

- added FAQ / Help page in which you will see most common questions and problems
- voting poll will show results only after voting (more reliable voting)
- some text cleaning on website

I recently decided to swap all my rigs to smos because it gets rid of driver issues of w10, and a lot more
SMOS seems to boot fine on Skylakes Asus Z270-k and AMD CPUs with GA-970A-UD3P mainboards BUT
on MSI z170a PRO CARBON with skylake CPU and 6X 480 nitro (also tried with 1 on 16x slot) the boot freezes on SimpleMiningOS-NV-RX-v1162-4.15.2    /     ...v1165-4.16.0-amd18.10       /  ...v1176-4.17.1-amd18.10     + latest

I tried the following:

latest BIOS + reset defaults
Plug monitor into MB - set PCI to AUTO
Tried gen1, and 2
Above 4g enabled
Everything disabled in Windows and Fastboot
8x different USB sticks
1x USB dummy (you never know)

...Black screen

System runs 7 cards in w10 so I know it's not hardware.

I'm also having trouble with booting from Asrock H81 with 6x 470s, tried also with one card. Booting sends me to BIOS. Everything is default on this mainboard except power AC ON.

Update your claymore miner. You need to be using 11.x. You're probably on version 9.x

If you login to Dwarfpool to look at your stats you'll see a message saying you need to update your Claymore.
