Have a question for you. Can you change the clocks, power limits at all?



I have gtx 1070's and my cards run at 115 watts each. So you 1060's I don't know but think you can get away with 70 watts per cards. You can change to wattage to what you want. This is for 6 cards. So edit it to the amount of cards you have. So try this --

Core                0,0,0,0,0,0
Memory           0,0,0,0,0,0
Power Limit      70,70,70,70,70,70

The person that told me to try this said it works on nvidia that have problems with incorrect overclock readings. Let me know.


tnx but it didnt work core clock is : 1936   and mem clock is still :3802    for all 2rigs and 12cards

I had the same problem. Your settings are stored on simplemining server. So what I did was deleted my rig from the rig list in the dashboard. But the hard part is getting it back in the list and I am trying like to remember how I did it. Your trying to put the same rig back into the list that you deleted out. And your rig is still in the rig groups. Just remembered You will need to add a new group in the rig groups. Make it the same as the one you removed. Then set it to default, once you have done that. You delete the old one out. BUT you do this on your own. It worked for me, but I cannot say it will work for you.

You'll learn he doesn't talk much. You'll have to search high and low thru forums to get answers. And you may get lucky and some one here may have your answer. There are some nice people in here but you'll have to wait. Have you tried the simplemining chat room?

Hi, how can i run additional program on your linux?
Need to run infinite ping to specified host. (ping -t 192.168.0.123) for example. (Needed for watchdog)
tytanick? Can't get any answer within one month...
Didn't get answer there,same as here... Need to add cron manage tool through web interface... Yes i can add all of this manually, but i have a lot of rigs...

does anyone know how to make Dwarfpool send us an email if our worker stops mining?  on Dwarfpool page it says this but I don't know how I should edit SMOS.

Monitoring

To enable monitoring of your worker, use email as password. To disable monitoring, restart your miner without email as password.

Email will be send if no shares last 15 minutes.

In combine with WORKER_ID you can monitor your rigs separately.

Overclocking in RX DagFix works for me.

You can try:
- check gpu bios for memory speed and volt.
- increase Powerstage.

Asus B250 Mining Expert mobo seems to work faulty on Simplemining! needs an update ASAP! I have 22 rigs on simpleminig, 2 of them run on B250 Mining Expert mobos, they get completely locked up once a day. It's very frustrating. Please contact me or do something about my favorite mining OS. I need to run those rigs 24/7 Embarrassed

Seriously....

For a guy who's almost certainly making $10's of thousands per month (my guess 20-100k/month) - you think you could afford to hire a bit of help to make this a really great OS?!

Like please, for the sake of all the users. Go on to UpWork and hire some help for cheap. This is nuts. The errors are insane at this point and there are almost 300pgs of threads - who has time to read all of that!?

Do not count money in somebody's pocket and to tell people what to do it is dangerous for your health and your karma. If you don't understand it now you will eventually. If I had 20-100k/month I would not be here.

At the beginning SMOS looks like good thing but because of luck of information and guys like you it is not any longer. I am pretty capable of to install ubuntu + claymore on my 4 rigs.

SMOS is a wonderful OS.  I'm running several rigs with it.  I, like many of you, once had problems and thought it was due to SMOS.  It's not.  It's likely one of the components in your system.

Good job Tytanick, keep up the good work!  Please keep software as stable as possible it's working good right now!

I think you answered your own question. If you have 22 rigs on SmOS, and the 2 Asus B250 motherboard rigs regularly have problems, the problem is not SmOS. Google it and you'll find EVERYONE has problems with the B250, and NOONE is running 19-GPU's stable. Ask ASUS. Good luck!

Overclocking in RX DagFix works for me.

You can try:
- check gpu bios for memory speed and volt.

With RX580 you can try:
powerstage 1
Undervoltage 800

than
powerstage 5
undervoltage 1000

The powerdraw from wall is almost the same.

The thing is I only run 8x 1080ti on this ASUS B250 Mining Expert, I never tried more than that. 8 GPUs and the whole system gets locked daily!
