Use Poloniex or Livecoin to buy your first Burstcoins. They allow you to withdraw to a wallet that has not made its first transactions unlike Bittrex.

With sending a deposit on Bittrex you also need to be very careful and do not forget about the need to send a message as well.

I think the Polonies and Bitrix exchanges have already missed their best times. And new good times for them have not yet come, so now it is better to bypass these two exchanges and not to go there at all.

Here's an interesting post I saw: A common misconception about #blockchain technology is that your funds are stored on your wallet. In reality, all your BURST is stored directly on the blockchain. That is why there is no risk of losing anything with the hardfork. https://twitter.com/Burstcoin_dev/status/1005177761755955202

I agree with you b but while these two exchanges Poloniex and Bittrex have about 90% of the volume of BURST.

Well then i have bad luck, both livecoin and poloniex have their burst wallet closed, my coins are stuck at bittrex because my adress is not verified!

So if Anyone can send me some coins, i will pay you back the moment i have them from the exchange.

Begging should be discouraged. It would be better if newbs get their first Bursts from a faucet or use an exchange that allows them to withdraw in a new address.

That said, the Burst network is running well without problems after the fork! Can anyone confirm if Poloniex supported to the fork?

The update, gone in place at 500k blocks, all done, and all worked fine, now we are waiting for the 502k block to start the new mining way with PoC2 plot files, to complete this phase.

I didn't fully understand. Will I have to replot my PoC1 files? As far as I understood PoC2 will only reduce my reading speeds by half. Is it correct?

yes, poc2 will reduce by half, no need to replot, there are programs to convert without replotting, this is the one i'm using if you have a windows machine : https://github.com/JohnnyFFM/Poc1to2Converter/releases

It can convert your files, without the need for extra space rewriting them directly on the same hdd, obviously when converting one file, this one can't be used for mining while in the process of convertion.

Hope that for poc3 there will be another tool to convert, didn't study, at the moment, about poc3  phase. So i don't know if there will be the possibility to convert or if only a new plotting will solve.

Burst will create a decentralized open source platform that will allow you to move the value - according to your own rules

You should to encounter some problems if you want to use the PoC1 to PoC2 converters. Some miners in /r/burstcoin have said their system hanged after hours of waiting for the conversion.

Replotting your drives will take longer but it is the better and smoother way to avoid issues that would waste more of your time.

At the moment converted 50% of my 26Tb. of plots on various HDD and no issues, using jminer to mine. Waiting the 502k block to start the conversion of the last 50%...

I have no idea who is right or wrong in all of this but I suggest the PoCC has the right attitude.  Just work on getting the Burstcoin price up and ignore the rest.
