What do you do when BTC shoots up?

If the price goes up realy high I exchange a part of bitcoins to fiat and use that money to cover some bills and stuff, that seems cheaper to me. Sometimes in situation like this I try to invest some smaller part and hope this will bring me profit so I can enlarge my bitcoin portfolio. And I hope that price will go even higher.

So you have a bitcoin portfolio can you please explain what this is all about.Do you invest and diverse your portfolio using bitcoin or paper money or do you mean to have an altcoin portfolio

Well for me i will do same since its proven  that the price is keep rising if you sell all your bitcoins right now you dont have a chance to buy bitcoins again for a cheap price unless if there is hack happen again in some trading site..

Basic rule if its in place you will end up in earning rather than a greed to just keep holding and end up sometime in a loss. Always have the earning to cost ratio and if it crosses a certain percentage start selling if not whole to an extent which will propel you to take the rising price advantage as well.

- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?

When the price of bitcoin is really high comparing with the price that I bought and If my plan is not to sell then I just keep watching when will the price crash because that happens always after a huge pump, if you are an USD/BTC trader then you may sell them and hope to buy again after the crash.

The problem if the price will continues to increase or keep rising.. if you sell to early you will not gain more profit if the price will keep rising..

there are different strategies, some people take high risks of trading every day (short term) and make profit that way and some choose to hold bitcoin forever until there is a real huge price rise.

and also there are some in the middle who take a medium risk and sell if there is a "shoot up" because there is always a correction and they buy immediately after they sell to get back in the dip but have more bitcoin because of the profit.

It's obviously depend on the traders. it's seem that you don't really find profit and seems don't care about a little opportunities which could bring you pretty little amount of profit then it's actually fine. Though it's kind of risky to do short term trading so if you don't really have intention to do trading and only interested on natural price rising which happen without even waiting for it, it's more better

When the price of BTC shoots up then I buy more at that time and do not sell my available bitcoins but wait more because at that time I am pretty sure that many other people will also start to buy and so the price then increase more high and more faster so I get the benefit if I hold for further more time at that time.

If the price keep on rising, that is a big IF which is actually unsure. if you see the profit and it hits your goal price, sell and don't get greedy.  Sometimes waiting too long can miss you an opportunity to sell at the peak/set price.  Just go with your plan. And be happy if ever it keep on increasing.  That is  your plan anyway.

it is always good to hold bitcoin because the price of bitcoin i unpredictable since bitcoin is keep increasing and i think the price will increase more soon.. so if you are holding bitcoin if bitcoin shoots up you can sell your bitcoins with a huge price .

in life there are always plan B as a human in his or her right thinking should not always out his or her eggs in one basket because thing are band to happen so that one singular reason man needs to plan ahead or have a second plans to life. that were savings and investment comes into play
