I know there are a lot of sites like gyft that allow it to buy gift cards with bitcoin. Gyft has no fees but yestobitcoins Charges 5%. Is there a Canadian bitcoin to gift card site that don't have fees?
Thanks

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Purse.io and egifter are other 2 sites to buy gift cards using bitcoins. Purse.io you might be able to get a price lower than a market for Amazon. Don't know about the Canadian specific sites though.

Have you tried egifter, coincard.ca and giftoff? I've personally used both egifter and giftoff and they work great and instantly deliver. Only once I had a delivery issue with giftoff, but they compensated by sending me another gift card for free. These are good sites you may want to try.

A gift card seller like Gyft, based in Canada: https://coincards.ca/ is a service designed to allow Canadians to purchase gift cards from over 100 Canadian retailers using their bitcoins. and this is their thread here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=719516.0I don't know about authenticity of said site/merchant so caution is advised. (I haven't used it before) So, gl Also, I think they charge 5%(according to their thread), so no luck with the 'no fees'.

I was searching around the forum for an answer to your question and I found this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=719516.0Its title is: Canadian Gift Cards - Coincards.ca Gift Cards from over 100 Canadian retailers It advertises this site called CoinCards.ca. According to the thread, it is 'a site dedicated to bringing merchant adoption in Canada through gift card sales'. I don't know if this is much help, but this is all that I have.

Is this a joke? You do know that gift cards from other countries can't be used right? From your answer I guess not.

for example amazon.ca. also note you buy the giftcards in a certain currency so obviously you need to be on the site that sells items for that same currency.

I’ve used one before and it worked just fine. I think if more people started using bitcoin giftcard it would be easier for people to start seeing the use of bitcoin.
