Reaching for cellphones, drivers licenses, and the sky (in raising the hands to show that they are giving up), are all reasons to NOT be shot. But it doesn't work out like that in a lot of cases. Google "police brutality."

Most people don't want to be cops because they realize that the cop-life is dangerous.
