The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

BTC: 608.45 (stage 2)
ETH: 16,124.99 (stage 2)
FIMK: 255,621,021 (stage 4)
NXT: 6,220,425 (stage 2)
ETC 16,124
ARDR 6,220,425

-------------------------------
BTC 608 x 935 = $568,480

ETH 16,124 x $7 = $112,868

NXT 6,220,425 x .006c = $37,322

ETC 16,124 x $1 = $16,124

ARDR 6,220,425 x .012c = $74,645

total $809,439 USD received in the ICO

Now you know you have twice the money you thought you had can you hire some developers and marketing communications people?
PS IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO 1 MILLION DOLLARS.

"The amount definitely was nowhere near $1 million dollars worth of crypto. The amount is difficult to calculate because of high volatility and oftentimes lacking liquidity as in the case of FIMK. Using current, realized rates the amount raised in the first funding round of Heat Ledger Ltd lands somewhere between $300k and $400k"

This is so genius, they don't even know how much money they have! xD
Guys consider your money gone!!

And here is the fix for all the guys that had nothing to say but "Hey look he mispelled something" instead of giving a little bit more significant input to the whole situation(yeah consider your money gone too), here you go...

One of the biggest scam, just ranked no.2, no.1 is 1700 btc vapor power risecoin, no.2: heat.

if you use all your raised capital on business expenses you can't write off corporate taxes in Finland?
I don't see why or how we would use all our raised capital on business expenses during the first or any financial term. Sounds impossible and stupid. HEAT is not a finanically inefficient socialist community where you've got to spend all your funds before the year is over, to get a new grant from government or whatnot. We're business and need to do sound financial planning. Rather than trying to find holes to burn investor capital to, we do the opposite of aiming for lower burn rates and use capital only where necessary.

Quote
You have to pay tax before expenses??
Yes indeed that's the case on some classes of expenses as unbelievable as it is, however the bulk of the load in business expenses comes from 24% VAT on all services rendered by us, or those we contract work / services from, and the 30% to 50% expenses they have to pay to be able to spend the money we pay for their services. In high bureaucracy cost environment you only have to chain a couple of operators to see the bulk of the money gone to the state, well that's unfortunately the case in most western countries anyway these days although a few % points can make a big difference in many circumstances.

Additionally, we pay capital gains tax on all profits incurred by rise in BTC value between the time it was obtained and the time it was sold / used, without the possibility to deduct similar losses in capital gains.

That's not nearly all. Running business and even being aware of all the multiple aspects involved in accounting, budgeting etc. actually isn't the investors' business nor is it possible to teach the investors all the particularities. It's our business which we do as well as we can, with financial professionals using their knowledge to take care of the details.

Quote
How the hell could any company survive this?
You've got to practice financial prowess - which we do - and then in fresh regulatory environments such as cryptocurrency legislation you can benefit greatly when compared to the old school business. That's why we set up shop over here instead of striving for environments that may have an impression of lower tax % etc.

Quote
Or are you saying you are paying yourselves nice salaries and have personal income tax requirements?
Expenses on salaries are high, not only the tax. Yes we of course do pay salaries and compensations from seed funds as required.

How stupid it was on my part to invest in this very sad sad project.
It feels like one very big incompetency (to say the least).
The more time passes it becomes more and more worrying instead of giving some kind of assurance (backed by real proofs) that the money was invested in something that actually has a chance to rise somewhere...

Okay.
So basically you're saying that code is ready and you're merely testing it so you won't release a buggy product.
Why do you not include the community in the testing?
You could update the alpha that is accessible to every participant of the ICO and get bug reports and higher usage of your testnet.
Secondly, the investors could verify for themselves at what stage the project currently is.
Thirdly, future investors could already have a glimpse at the technology they will be investing in.
Sounds like a win-win situation for everyone, so how about it?

This is great again. He makes a big post that answers none of our questions! He also seems to ignore me. Remember I will post the scumbag image of you two until you address my issues. I too invested in this shitcoin and have the right to get an answer from you!

So now we know what is going on... You 2 pay your salaries from the investor funds.... This is especially great as you are too retarded to know how much money you even have. You point a whole list of did you consider this and did you consider that. Did you consider any of the things? Have YOU made the calculation on how much YOU have??? So here is another question I demand an answer: How high is the salary of you 2? You should be able to answer that, are you?

Also why don't you say anything about a release date? It was stated in November? Don't you get it? We are waiting!!! When is the fucking releasedate?!

Also my question from before. What have you done the whole time? Yes YOU the other guy, the one that is not coding! Show us what you have done, show us your "work"!

Also I want cryptographic proof of the funds! I want to see that you still have the funds! Proof it or we all know that you don't have them anymore or you exchanged them into cash and are on the run now!

If you have any braincell left you would address my issues to get this over with! Other possibility is you ARE A SCAM and are trying to get time!

Proof how much you have left and then pay your investors the funds back!

i want to know too whats going on here, about possible release dates, about transparency of funds and dev process in total.
this is crypto it should be totally easy to see those things and its possible to show how much money is used so far and how much still left.
one week the mood here is very good another week very bad mood, the investors need transparency and need to be more part of heat project.

If they don't answer my questions in a satisfying was soon, this thing is done! I will put them on every scam list out there and this will be the total end of it. After that investors will go the legal way to get their funds back!

Edit: I forgot again...

Just had a little look at your post history, looks like we're in the same boat jackass. Or can you show me one post of yours that seems even in the slightest way constructive? I am still waiting bitch!

At least I am asking questions(look at my post above ) and I think they are reasonable. You can present your argument why they are not reasonable now. If you do not, maybe it is time to stfu!

Officially writing off this investment.
No beta wallet updates for testing, minimal communication, no release of tokens.

I feel like a hostage.

This was not the agreement by any means. Developer should release tokens even if in a minimally solid functional wallet without all of the bells and whistles. Community trust is everything in this business.

There's another point: You often mention aiming at fintech business. Why did you not go to them for an initial funding in the first case?

You did not. You came here, into the cryptoworld where it is very clear which way new projects usually go. Coming here to ask for money includes (even if not officially) the usual procedures for dealing with the community and their needs.

You cannot (yes just morally but for serious and honest people that is an obligation nonetheless) come into a community and behave as if you are a completely disconnected entity while profiting off the community.
