Congrats guys! Where can we get the binaries for setting up a node?
Thanks these'll be on github before the 4320 non-reward blocks are up.

We've thoroughly tested the Linux binary however because of the Chronicle libs used Windows faced some issues in our earlier tests. Might be that we start with the Linux release alone, not certain currently.

the account page shows a different account number than the exchange page.
You're probably looking at the sender account. Your account # is currently visible on the Exchange page. Numeric account id's are only intended for stakeholder accounts and some api users, email account format will prevail

Also, whats up with tx fees? For a 5k tx there is a 10 heat fee according to the blockchain explorer? That seems a lot, doesn't it?
That particular fee displays the total fees for that block. One asset issuance 10 HEAT + one transfer fee 0.01 HEAT. Block's detailed transactions will be visible later unless someone would be nice enough to code that in now Wink

Will the Bitcoin Gateway be included or is it postponed, as I can't find it yet.
Secondly, I created an asset. Where can I see it?
And how do I create a market for it?

Too bad you have to launch half-assed because of the C-Cex pressure Smiley.
I will be setting up my server to forge.

There's partly functional semi-auto Bitcoin gateway pending deployment, however it's still centralized until we can complete the multi-sig parts of the client side BTC wallet.

And how do I create a market for it?
These UIs although working had to be disabled for the launch phase and will be enabled next. The API should however give you a lot of options at this phase, although hard to navigate without more example cases

so whats different from testnet/nxt now? what to try out?
Wait a day or two for the fixes and the Asset-to-asset exchange is definitely something different from the features point of view. Regarding capability and the tps figures, we aim to have benchmarking tools at early phase so every node can meter their own performance. This benchmark may one day be on par with geekbench Wink

I see account balance on exchange page and a random number, then in the upper right corner it say unknown account when i hover over an exclamation mark.
Random number is your HEAT balance right? Unknown account just means your account doesn't have a public key and hasn't been used. For more security it's advisable to not hold funds for longer time on such stakeholder accounts.

Congratulations on the launch!!! Looking forward to running a node and withdrawing my coins from Alcurex to do so.

Also, fuck you StewieG, it's hilarious looking through your "This user is ignored" posts.

Main web node was on a fork thus the slow initial blocks. Forks and thus tx reversals early on in the network are usual when few forgers are on. (If there were more, other problems would ensue.) Deploying the 2nd dev acct now and releasing the server binaries for public asap.

Server binaries, very nice! How about the server code? Also how would anybody code the block explorer? This is basically a blackbox right now? I think we can wait a few more months until exchanges are able to accept heat as the transaction are being backrolled every once in a while!

Here is dennis de jerk describing this new heat technology:

Please do not under any circumstances release the server code! We could lose competitive advantage! All those jealous people out there waiting to fork the HEAT!
