I'm getting the following error:

{"errorDescription":"Unknown account","errorCode":3}

Can someone help me out with this please?
Did you replace this%20is%20your%20secret%20phrase with your own? (replace all spaces with %20). Did you replace api_key=defined_in_heat-default.properties with your own api key?

Hey. Yes..I did both.

apikey can be alphanumeric right?

Try to use a slash instead of backslash:
Code:
curl -k -s http://localhost:7733/api/v1/mining/start/this%20is%20your%20secret%20phrase/?api_key=defined_in_heat-default.properties

Excellent! That worked..thanks a lot. I got some values as deadline and hittarget.

Does this mean I'm now forging?

I'm still getting that "Uknown account" error (slash changed). I don't have HEAT in my account. How could I? Neither C-CEX nor Alcurex have the HEAT wallet installed..

Does alcurex come with the 1.5 x multipler? has it already been put in place?

Both Openledger and Alcurex have applied the multiplier.

In preparations for HEAT launch, Alcurex adjusted the 1.50x HEAT token multiplier yesterday Jan 17th.

Openledger 1.50x adjustment is imminent at 14.00 CET today. Buy one HEAT now, have 1.5 HEAT in 2 hours Cheesy

yes alcurex made the 1.5 multiplier, about if they will refund peoples btc or not we will see but i think it would not be good from them to dont do.
they should do same like ccex in my opinion.
But what C-Cex did screwed everyone, including those who wanted out.

Um how to get coins to mainnet if exchanges don't support withdraws yet?
How to start forging with an "unknown" account? I have to make a transaction first I guess, but how?

well if team dont delivered what was promised its their good right to protect their ico investors and give them the offer to sell their coins into the "buywall" or stay with it.
from what i have seen its totally legit and i want out of alcurex the same way like this.

But they havent said anything about letting you withdraw the HEAT, or made any mention of adding the multiplier. So keeping HEAT bought on C-Cex isnt really an option.
If they did then it would be less of an issue.

they are forging now and taking most of the rewards, look at the blockchain explorer data[/size]
This isn't intentional and should have been switched off by now as I've made 4 calls to Dennis that it needs to be switched off immediately at block 4321. Which accounts are you referring to? Dev reward accounts are 8881398431621852760 and 2898601473431954685

Some stakeholder accounts without a public key need to have an outgoing transaction first. Make a new account by entering with your own passphrase, see the account number at the exchange page next to "balance" on left side and transfer HEAT to it.

Absolutely. It has nothing to do with the misinformation before the ICO, the intransparancy after the ICO and the more than poor communication after the house of cards collapsed.  Roll Eyes
The only reason we have something like a release is because of C-Cex. Without this pressure we still wouldn't have a release.

All I hope for is a fair price in the announced internal BTC/Heat exchange or a buywall as PROMISED by Svante. That's the very least he could do after tricking people into this mess.

HEAT seems undervalued at this point let see where it goes Smiley

how do you figure,
at 0.0001  - it gives heat a marketcap of around 2.4 million dollars.
Do you feel this project is worth more than projects such as LbRY or Bitbay,
I don;t think so. Not from what i have seen so far.

Stage 2 ico BTC price was 0.00013 ÷ 1.5 = 0.00008667 BTC

Average price paid might be slightly lower than that if extra HEAT from c-cex gets distributed or burnt.

That means average market cap ico investors bought in at was about 2100 BTC

Even Potcoin is at 4450 BTC market cap.

Weak hands will be shaken out now then they will cry later when we go up past 10000 BTC market cap like Stratis

There are 25 Million Heat. so its 2500 BTC. The market will make the valuation once they see the potential.

Look at Byteball. Its a 2 men studio, marketcap 4,5Mill. Its a bubble. blob

Though quite off topic, I must correct this.
It's true that Byteball was developed only by one person within 2 years. But now there are at least two developers active in Byteball and a lot of volunteers like myself for marketing and support. The #helpdesk on the Byteball slack alone is staffed with 4 supporters!

You could just send 1 HEAT to another account. Just pick an account shown in the blockchain explorer.

I don't have any HEAT on my account. All my HEAT is on C-CEX and Alcurex..

How can there even be a mainnet account with any HEAT balance? From where does it come? C-CEX and Alcurex don't have HEAT withdrawal enabled..

EDIT:
Oh I think I got it.
Purchasing was also possible directly, without an exchange.

So the mainnet was launched but people can't withdraw from exchanges.
Only those who bought directly can forge now.
This sucks.

devs are taking most of the forged coins to themselves now, this is totally unfair... according to ICO terms they were supposed to get their stash after 1 year from genesis (check in the terms) and they are forging now and taking most of the rewards, look at the blockchain explorer data

If true this is totally unacceptable!!
Heat team, please respond to this asap. You have a long standing responsibility with this community and your investors.
They did just above. The two dev addresses are 8881398431621852760 and 2898601473431954685.

Doing a quick check they are not showing up in the block explorer. A few other large holder are getting a lot of rewards but there were a few 1.5M HEAT accounts which werent dev accounts.

I've got replay from C-CEX regarding removing my coins from there

"Ok. Please, wait buy wall expiration time. After that we will try to use wallet provided by heat. If we found it working - you will be able to withdraw your funds."

well thats a point i totally understand, ccex should tell exactely how they will handle the situation about withdrawal and multiplier.

I have asked C-Cex on their twitter and their exchange thread what their intentions are for those that don't want to sell into the buy wall, but want our 1.5x multiplier , after the wall is removed. No reply as of yet.

And if ccex decides to say that they were unable to make it work then what? We can not withdraw HEAT nor refund?
That's what they do. They want us to think we should give them back all the coins for the 0.0001 they have bought for or loose everything. Never-mind trading fees and people who have bought way higher then wall.
If I bought for 0.00015, person who sold me is getting his money back through the wall, I need to loose 30% of my investment and C-Cex has all the coins back. Multiplied. Brilliant.

This is very bad behavior. I stopped trading with them 2 years ago when they were doing something similar.

Now is the time to forge and accumulate as much HEAT as possible.  Anything less than 50k satoshi (12500 BTC market cap) is seriously undervalued for such ambitious innovation.

Well, Eliphaz just admited in one of his posts that they are working on turnig it off.
Not quite how I read it.
If you check, you will se that the last block from the dev account was 4549.
It was turned off too late but have been stopped for 3 hours now.

I bet c-cex is already forging with investors HEAT tokens. That is probably why they don't want to do anything before Feb. 9.
Its been proven that they have been staked POS coins before, so its not unlikely.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd-biggest account with ~1.5m is c-cex:

Dev accounts forging should indeed have been turned off already at the time of my previous post. It was a few hundred blocks late, which has technical reasons Dennis promised he'll clarify in his coming post after things have settled down and we have a moment to do such wrapup. Currently we don't as we're sweating like mules in getting the downloadable wallet (client + server package) out to github

I'm pretty sure the 2nd-biggest account with ~1.5m is c-cex:
18252099885545499037
Correct, that is the C-CEX HEAT account.
