can anyone please advise me how to get past this ?

"Fatal error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Ran out of virtual memory on a 32-bit JVM, either use a 64-bit JVM or *reduce* your heap size"
"Shutdown hook triggered, initiating HEAT 0.9.8 shutdown"
"[SPAWN] DONE!"

Woof woof!!
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

HAHAHAHA 32bit means max 4gb heap, HEAT probably uses more than 4gb ram! xD xD This is so fucked up! Let me guess, this is what happens to heatwallet.com as it is not working at all and not showing any blocks, guess it had the same isssue and shut down... 100k tps, yeah right... Improving how the client handles transactions in order to scale up,yeah right... The way Bitcoin handles transactions is very insufficient, yeah right... Our client is much more sufficient, yeah right.... Tests have shown normal hardware can handle 100k tps, yeah I am sure your "tests" showed that... Just a bunch of lies all the way!

Only fix people have found so far is to run on a 64-bit operating system instead.

You're assuming the worst again, Stew.  What happens when you assume?  You make an ass out of u and me.

I've been running a node on a 64-bit linux system with only 1GB RAM.

My node can't go past block 45403 after upgrading to 0.9.8 and deleting the old blockchain. Can anything be recommended to fix this issue?

You can add to your heat.properties file some of the nodes (not blacklisted) from https://heatbrowser.com/report.html. Open the properties file and and line heat.wellKnownPeers=

After the equal mark you enter ip's. Should fix that problem.

@Eliphaz

Can you make a new moderated thread so we can keep the trolls away?

Some trolls can be fun and add something to the progress of the project and challenge the devs, but this ones here are out of control and really spamming the thread.

Would be great, cause like this its annoying to keep up all the pages with their nonsense.

thanks!

you have constantly put guys trolling stewies trollposts on ignorelist. it works you dont miss anything.

c-cex buywall was used by 45 BTC, pretty much half of the BTC.

Did c-cex get the coins from heat?

What about bittrex exchange?

So what are you playing at here? That Savage and DeJerk are in fact not real and in reality some indian kids are running a scam scheme here?

Just a pattern I have noticed with coins that promise a lot and never deliver.

All the devs from those coins sign "Best regards", even the coins that are trying to be revived. The new devs of those coins sign "Best regards".

I don't know about Indian, but it sure does sound like Bollywood is behind many of these coins.

Yeah it must be indians. There is like a billion of them. Totally indian scam. Or maybe china! But they don't have great internet there, so I'll go with indian!

I do really doubt that my BTC withdrawal will arrive any time soon... Second attempt to withdraw BTC and it takes more than 24 hours again. This is superior as usual
