I started with this coin a couple of days ago and ive already gotten 2 orphan blocks.   the wallet is on all the time and in 36 hrs ive gotten only 2 stakes that were rejected.  Wallet is showing 2 connections and 0 net weight and 0 seconds to stake.   Am i missing something?  Is Taj staking for someone else?  Thx for any help.

Hi PollacoMan sorry for the late response i am with fam on yearly vacation and for these 2 weeks trying to be offline as much as possible (like that ever worked for me ).

Proof of stake is essentially a competition like PoW so in order to find a stake block it relies on factors such as PoS difficulty, the number of TAJ you are staking , the quality of your connection to the network. Considering you only get 2 connections to the network you should check your firewall settings as you should get at least 10 connections.
Ophan blocks are quite normal every stake wallet has them and since you got only 2 orphans in 2 days is nothing to worry about it just means someone with aprox the same ammount of TAJ as you have is stkaing as well and he/she found the same block but only one gets accepted.

Blockchain is a little sluggish as TAJ is only 30 days old crypto and not many miners are mining the coin.

I didnt quite understand the part "is Taj staking for someone else".  Any online wallet with any ammount of TAJ connected to the network is staking.

Maybe check the OP for PoSWallet link and benefit from pool staking.
