LEOcoin is an established digital currency (ticker: LEO) that allows individuals to make fast and secure transactions through a decentralised peer-to-peer network. It's digital cash that is fast, easy to use and available around the globe (provided there is internet access).

Technical information about LEOcoin

LEOcoin (LEO) is a peer-to-peer digital currency and open source software project. LEOcoin creation and transfer is based on an open source protocol and is not controlled by a central authority.
2014 LEOcoin started as an altered version of Litecoin and for two years used scrypt-Jane as a proof-of-work (POW) and proof-of-stake (POS) algorithm with a modified nFactor. In July 2016 LEOcoin switched to a sole proof-of-stake procedure. This made the LEOcoin network more secure and over time creates new LEOcoin without consuming large amounts of energy.

In the summer of 2017 LEOcoin moved to a technically improved chain (LEOcoin2). This blockchain used the X11 hashing algorithm and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) as a coin creation mechanism. When you still have old LEOcoin1 coins (2014), please contact support to see if the upgrade can still be made.

In the spring of 2019, the LEOcoin development team started the migration to the Ethereum platform. We dubbed this project LEOcoin3 and you can exchange your LEOcoin for the LEOcoin ERC20 on the migration website: https://upgrade2erc20.leocoin.org/

By joining the Ethereum network, LEOcoin has gotten access to the smart contracting technology and 2nd layer application developments. For now, LEOcoin is a straight forward utility token with its own community and user base. By app development, we will over the course of the next few years add new functionality that will enable the LEOcoin Foundation to grow the use of LEOcoin.

I think you base is corupted and you need to delete all only wallet.dat not and start synch from start! Lets wait some dev expert to replay! I am sure leocoin foundation will give you replay today! Do not worry your coins stake anyway in blockchain so you will get your leocoins 👍🏼😜

Over 33k merchants and still counting

but was disappointed to see that there are only about six in Europe, with no details or links about them. I can't seem to find a hundred in total, never mind 33k.
Also, when I hover over the "Join as a Leo member" on that page, it asked me for a Sponsor Name.

The LEO merchant program is not a LEOcoin Foundation project. We have no details or data to our availability. According to the latest information that I have gotten, there are currently a large number of pre-registered merchants which are fully KYC compliant, but likely not all of the 33,0000 that initially signed up. The project is on hold and the website is in beta-status. I expect that this will remain to be the case until LEOcoin has reached a higher stable price level.

As pre-registering was free for the merchants involved, the relatively high number mentioned on the website can probably be best explained by the fact that both existing LEO members as the new merchant could get a free LEOcoin award of 100 LEOcoin for pre-registration. At that time, prices of LEOcoin on the free market exceeded 1 GBP, so getting a free 100 pound was for sure attractive.

It is to be expected that once the merchant program will get activated, an overview of all merchants that accept LEOcoin will be given. At least, we as LEOcoin Foundation would strongly endorse such a thing. For more detailed questions with regard to this third party program, please contact LEO Ltd.

This is a clean install

I compile the latest source code and it stops at block 419999.

Also tried downloading the windows installer, same issue, I cant use a blockchain download, it needs to sync from block 0.

Maybe its just incompatible with our systems, we will start refunding the votes, perhaps we can try a future version at another date.

Strange, strange, as with most systems it works. Give me some time to contact dev. team, so we can find a solution.
