The concept of calculating is correct, though you forgot the fees of the xaurum team which is and Im guessing aprox 30%. For less I doubt they would go through all the mess and hard work.. U guys think those scavengers have any real gold in their possession? I will believe this only if u show me the photos depicting them holding a lump of gold on which the purity hallmark is clearly visible. Even if they provide the evidence of being into gold, they cant prove that they didnt rob the bank.

hi everyone. i'm newbie in xaur and i have the next question: a tutorial (placed here http://www.xaurum.org/tutorial.html) doesn't say anything about what addresses i should use in transactions. i created an account in mist and made 2 test sendings of 1.1 (0.1 fee goes to bittrex) xaur each from bittrex to my ethereum address 0x2A5040BD6d737cbB9168C0B8edE9877f9C934887 (wich has xaurum token). in the result i've got 2 receiving transactions by 0.5 each what makes the final total amount equal to 1 xaur instead of supposting 2. what did i do wrong? thanks. |

Hope xaurum pirce can skyrocket again, I think this is a different coin, dev. should do extensive marketing strategies, competition is intense, altcoin I worry these coins abandoned by users.

Actually, there is a standard fee of 0.5 Xaur that gets burned each time you send Xaur. Bittrex doesn't seem to include this one when it displays fees, so they take 0.1 and an additional 0.5 gets burned. |

You are probably referring to Xaurum in its old form, when it was named XAU (1 XAU = 8000 XAUR). 1 XAU reached 3 BTC one time I remember. I don't know if there were such fees with the old Xaurum (XAU) and indeed if they were they couldn't be 0.5 XAU. |

We're still waiting to learn why and how the dev's can't abscond with the gold.
A deposit slip from a bank/vault is not a legal guarantee that funds are protected.
Heck, ryan kennedy reeked havoc on the bitcoin and dogecoin etc communities because he simply stole everything and there wasn't a legal mechanism in place to prevent him from doing so- he was arrested on rape, not on the theft of bitcoins from moolah when moolah imploded from him stealing the money.
All you're telling me is 'xaurum is backed by gold' and that's simply not enough.

Thank you for your questions, your concerns are valid, but our situation is different to the one of crypto-exchanges, that you have mentioned. Crypto is relatively new, and in crypto the laws can be evaded; gold, however, has been around for quite some time and theft and/or fraud are always prosecuted. We always state publicly that the gold is owned by Xaurum users, this ownership is entrusted to Auresco, that serves as the escrow for gold. No one can take the gold without legal consequences, as it would be considered both a theft of funds from Auresco, and as fraud of Xaurum users committed by Auresco. The only person to have the access to the gold reserves is the director of Auresco, and is therefore legally responsible, for both theft and fraud, if that were to happen. In the next week, our legal consultant, JK group, will prepare a legally binding document, publicly determining the users of Xaurum as the legitimate owners of the gold of the Xaurum commonwealth. Additionally, we have the daily Loomis audit system, that reports the balance of our gold storage, so anyone interested can be aware of the gold at all times, and raises the alarms in case it goes missing. I think coinmarketcap and coinindex are good sites for people who are newis to crypto world so thay can filter bullshit from real blockchain crypto coins.
But still...I think xaurum concept is a little bit different from all other cryptocurrencies on market. In good way.
The best thing about xaurum for myself is that I have already visited Xaurum fundation office in Ljubljana- BTC Crystal palace. And they have showed me all the legal statements about gold behind xaurum. Also I have seen document from FURS that proves that xaurum have "healthy business" concept. I do not know any other crypto that have this..
I think xaurum is on a good way to the top. Only a little bit of time is needed...but no problem...time is on
Xaurum's site. 👍
