Have you ever played on that site before? Any other informations regarding the 0.25btc on the email you received, maybe something why do you get it or what event they held so they gave you 0.25btc?
Sounds fishy for me if you won something from a gambling site without clear details. Maybe you need to go to the site and ask the live support (if any)

I see the chat is spammed with the same question, no reply yet.

I also got it, and theres is a invoice link that we must to click on it, but 40 minutes after that 0.25 btc arrived there is another email from vitalbet that said " Dear Members, Please note that due to an isolated virus infection on a connected computer, you may have received an email with a link. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK as it contains a virus. Our development team is working on resolving the issue. Thank you and have a great week!"

I play on it, even not in regular basis and there was no such a promotion or bonus like that...

I think problem solved. Just ignore the message/email and do not click the link. As mentioned it may contain virus, maybe ransomware or any, be extra careful with the unusual links especially those saying you have received money without knowing the reason why. And I think if there's really a promotion or giveaway it will be also posted on the site itself to inform the members. A little bit catchy for the users tho, since the email was sent by the support of the site.

This is a scam, I didn`t receive this mail, but I got few similar with some link attached. I delete this kind of links on first sight, I don`t even open them anymore to see what is written.
Just ignore this kind of links, I don`t know what is behind this links but for sure its some scam. And if you got one, you will get more soon, with me it was like that. Now they come from time to time, and I just ignore them you do the same and everything will be ok.

The main thing it was from the original support team email, what they want to say about this?
If there own accounts are not safe how come they will secure user information?

I received the same email, just checked the link on the email on virustotal and there is one suspected virus on the link (malicious site). So as others said already, better to ignore it and delete the email to avoid misclick.

So a Virus infected one computer of Vitalbet and it enabled that virus to take control over their support mailbox and send multiple spam mails to its customers?
Either this virus was next incarnation of SkyNet or there is something more going on here.

Very strange that these operations are falling into spam.
Before we had a case that a bitcoin sports betting site was trying this as part of marketing ( sick marketing ) channel.

Keep your data guys and use cloud solutions.

The problem is why that scammer know all vital bet user's email and send them all the same email about 0.25 bitcoin. It's really strage and fishy though.

The problem is why that scammer know all vital bet user's email and send them all the same email about 0.25 bitcoin. It's really strage and fishy though.

i think that scammer have all vital bet user's email and maybe he/she already hacked that site, make some modification on that site, and finally send email to all vital bet user's email. or in my experience, when we have visit on one website, we may seen that we pop ups come in front of website and telling us to be join as subscriber to get newest info from that site. after we join as subscriber, then we've got email almost every day from that site.

one day, the owner send email to us telling that he/she launching a new site and maybe we are interesting on that site. ok, we visit on the new site and again in front of the site, the owner site offering us to join as subscriber and ok no problem, we think that.

from this, the owner of the site have collected huge email list and on the other day/month, he launching new site that different than 2 other site, and he already have huge email, its piece of cake for her/him to send email to targeted email. and tadaaaa maybe he/she add some attached file that contain virus or anything else.

thats from my experience in couple of years ago and i believe this still continue as this is the one of marketing strategy on internet marketing.

Looks like a setup for a fishing site. That is not an official email or address. They would never send you something like that. Its a phishing attempt. What happens is they want you to use their link to login to get your password and username. It is a fake site made to look like the original. Just use your common sense and keep your head about you and you will be fine. xD

I got this email but didn't see it in my balance.

It is just a scam like the email ones we have all been getting for years. Dont worry about it.

Hey guys, don't be so quick to blame the site, it's really easy to spoof an email Smiley

Code:
<?
// Get posted data into local variables
$EmailFrom = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['EmailFrom']));    // Your email, e.g. me@bitcoin.com
$EmailTo = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['EmailTo']));        // Recipient, e.g. email of your friend
$FakeEmail = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['FakeEmail']));    // Fake email, e.g. THEYMOS@bitcoin.talk
$FakeDomain = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['domain']));      // Fake Domain, e.g. bitcoin.talk
$Name = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['Name']));              // Your name
$FakeName = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['FakeName']));      // Your fake name, e.g. Bitcoin Lover
$Subject = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['Subject']));        // Subject of the email
$Message = nl2br(Trim(stripslashes($_POST['Message']))); // Body of the email
// Modify headers of the Email
$FakeSender = "X-Sender: $FakeDomain";
$FakeReturn = "Return-Path: $EmailFrom";
$Fake = "From: $FakeName ";
$Reply = "Reply-To: $EmailFrom";
$BCC = "Bcc: $EmailFrom";
$additional = "-f $FakeEmail";                          // Hide the Mailed-by or Via
$headers = 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n";
$headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n";
$headers .= $FakeSender. "\r\n";
$headers .= "X-Priority: 3\r\n";                        // Normal priority (3), urgent is often categorized as Spam
$headers .= $Fake . "\r\n";
$headers .= $Reply . "\r\n";
$headers .= $BCC . "\r\n";
$headers .= $FakeReturn . "\r\n";
// Finally, Send Email
mail($EmailTo, $Subject, $Body, $headers, $additional);
?>

I was working on my Laptop and suddenly saw an email from support@vitalbet.com claiming that i had received 0.25BTC and it has been added to my balance. Also a link was attached in it. I want to know if anyone else got this, also they got their balance?

~Dr.Famous~

It just a spam OP dont bother to look at their link because it is their way to promote their site,  they are just sharing some spam mail just to get exposure eventhough they do it in bad way.

So the best thing you do now is delete those email because if you dont play to that site and dont bet in any raffle well that can tell that it just a bait for you to bite their false mail so better keep off.

I didn't took email just than spam advertising, I never played at that site but I have my account there so that is just spam to other players about their sites, so that better to avoid that kind of email when we never took risk there so it is normal how can we win there.

The support team has claimed it a virus and unwanted link and not their giveaway or something.
If you see any email like this, kindly delete it without hesitation. If you are really eligible, you will get the bonus automatically.
Locking this thread, confirmed.
