When they go to rehab or groups or something, they learn how to stop, what it causes to people, but if they get a taste of it again, they will go back. It just mean that the guy you are talking about probably isn't about to quit, and just telling everybody that he already quit gambling... If you are really serious about quitting, then you should be strong with your stand that you won't gamble whatever happens... If that's not possible, then cut the line, including friends who gamble, that would make your staying away from gambling easy...

Anyway, honestly, during the time that I was still into gambling, I usually stop for few days or even week without a reason and then gamble again, nothing is amazing in that, but during the time I quit, I totally quit...

It is truly a dangerous thing and it's something that is hard to be remove to an addicted and devoted gambler. Because if someone treats that way then for sure it's already a habit that is going to be one of the hardest to be resolved.

everyting started with zero , with small thing. so do in gambling addiction , you don't have to wait until the problem become a serious and become a bigger problem. just do it whenever you feel it has changed your life to a bad side and uncontrolled. an addiction cost a lot of time to be released , but if you do it properly and regularly you may free from gambling addiction very soon.

Once anyone stopped gambling, and again they come back, i am sure 90% of people will control their emotions. because they are experienced the bad thing of gambling, so they will make only safe bets.

Those are the cases for addicted people. Even when they have no balance, they would still try to find a way to get money then eventually loses it still. That's a sickness that needs to be always attended. Get a support for that, so you won't lose everything you have.

That is right, they come back hoping get back what they have lost in the last game. Some other gamblers really just go back again being addicted to it, because gambling is really hard to avoid especially when you are really really addicted to it. Some gamblers tried to lessen their gambling activities everyday, they are setting some day which they will not gamble and when they will Gamble. But some can't take the urge to gamble that's why when they play, they lost their resistance to gambling.

and most of the nonsense addicted people start illegal activities for making money so that they can become able to play gambling. some time they evel use their children's schools fees. some time they even sell their wife's jewelry for money to play gambling.

Gambling isn't as dangerous as drugs. When sometimes you come back to gambling, it doesn't mean that you will be back, unlike drugs that your body is the one asking that you have to take in a new dosage. Sometimes you come back because of a reason and not the gambling itself. One reason is probably you are bored, no money, or having a problem with the outside world. But as soon as you settle those problems, and you are back at your track, I am sure you will leave gambling.

you should not consider to differentiate drugs from gambling because it is way to far from each other. taking illegal drugs is abusing your health and it is something to do with your psychological issue while playing gambling games is just mental issue. gambling only brings satisfaction without any health issue. so you should not compare those two.

I manage to quit gambling for a very long time but because of the excitement that I can get upon seeing my favorite teams to play against their opponents are making me crave to sports bet again. So I also consider myself a returnee but I'm better now because I'm not that severe way back then  when I was into too much gambling addiction.

Usually that's the case when a gambler stops for many months or year and gamble again, he is in desperation and probably looking at the gambling and hoping to produce money. A gambling addict don't stop for more than a month, they tend to gamble immediately upon receiving a money, and that's it, they stop when they don't have money or they can't find any.

That can be a factor when a gambler is coming back to where he came from and that is with addiction. But that decision is always the wrong choice of making gambling as a way to solve a problem and that is misleading most of the gamblers upon thinking with it. But that is their only way to solve their financial problems and we cannot blame them.

I think it is not just for solving financial problem is their reason to keep coming back on gambling. Gamnling addicts is enjoying on playing it. Because normal human will not think that gambling will be the key to solve financial problem because it is just a vice. but i think it is a psychological problem. because the addicted people already know that the way  they are playing gambling is not in their favour but still they cannot stop plying gambling and same is the case for drugs addicted people as they also know that the drugs that they are taking are badly effecting their health but still they want t continue, therefore i think they must hat some psychological problems.
