GoDaddy has scammed me by selling me a domain and then cancelling it without paying me a refund of services. I have the emails that show that I had purchased a domain, but, they cancelled it. The issue is not that they cancelled my domain, the issue is that they did not give me my refund, they just stole my money. When I asked customer service over the phone to send me a receipt showing how the money was refunded, they said they were unable to produce it. They also proceeded to lie and tell me that they had already emailed me the refund receipt. Furthermore, when I asked them if I could record the conversation we were having, they said no, and proceeded to scream and shout at me, and interrupt me. I recorded the call anyway as it is my legal right to do so when I feel I am being scammed.

To GoDaddy:

You should know that withholding an invoice is the worst thing a business can ever do to its customers, it is also the easiest form of fraud you can claim damages from in court. You messed up big time stealing from me, I will be initiating complaints against the various agencies throughout Canada and the United States of America. If you cannot produce a receipt of my refund, that alone is proof that you have stolen from me, ie, committed fraud.

Keep calling them back, if they can't at least produce proof as to why they cancelled your account without refund, threaten to take legal action against them.  Nothing much will come from posting to them here...

Can't YOU provide proof?  Pictures of your account?

You should post proof here of the incident and everywhere you denounce them provide proof and audio recordings of the phone conversations you made, they can't take your money and run like this.

Godaddy did not scam you. A mistake may have happened. Yes! but they don't care about the few bucks you spend on a domain so its not like they are intentionally scamming.

You are the first one ive seen who posted bad claims against them and i think there is just an error happens with your payments their so keep contacting them so your ticket will be notice by their support, so have a chill first and take a deep breath if your claims are not responded after a week well yoh can really need to file a decent scam accusation with strong proof against them.

Have you contacted your bank/credit card if there is any pending payments,or cancelled/reversed incoming transfers/refunds ?

It may take 3 to 8 days or longer for your credit card to get credited depending on the payment processor, the bank and the country you live in

I know. I just wanted to warn the Bitcoin community about the dangers of using their site, that's all.
