You should go and learn all the things that you're able to do and what you have to do to set it all up before you buy it or even hover over the item in the checkout. You should know exactly what you're going to have to be doing and how it'll be set up.

As for if it's worth using it, you'll have to be aware you likely won't be making a ton of money off of it and there will be diminishing returns as more hashing power gets added to the network. As for what you'll make, I have no idea. There are a ton of calculators that exist that do that job far better than me.

You're looking at around 1BTC a month if you're running two, if that. Do you have the power available to run this profitably? Does the high price tag of the Antminer itself with that kind of ROI seem worth it to you? It's your money bud, but i think you should do some more research before you get yourself in too deep here. That rate of return will only go down as time goes by, remember that.

I was under the impression that you weren't sure about the technical aspects of the miner, not that you were trying to figure out whether to use it in a pool or not.

For two S9s I would recommend that you work in a pool, but I'm not sure that you'll earn 3-4 Bitcoins per month, but based on some rough calculations you'll earn about 3 Bitcoins every 50 days. So take that as you will. It might be worth your time, it might not be. I don't know your circumstances and what kind of money you can make doing other things.

I would ask there, but I think solo mining is not worth it anymore, you should join a pool with your machines.

Mining isnt profitable anymore. and also , it is very hard to find  block with solo mining for you. i advise to you that you should stay away from mining and do not order anything but if you want to lose money, you can try mining.

I don't think He will be under lose because He is getting free electricity right then he can make bitcoin very easily with right profit for his each and every blocks of transactions and then He don't have electricity problem means Its quiet nice start the mining service. OP can start his mining service according to me!;)

He can still sell his miner even when he gets roi; what you posted makes no sense. In fact, if you roi, you should almost certainly sell your miner, as it gives you a bit of extra money. Miners do not instantly lose value, as you can see with Antminer S7s on eBay- i made a fair amount of money selling after ROI. Cheap electricity/free electricity is great to mine with, but you'll need to see electrical limits first- cooling can use lots of electricity.

mining with solo is not a good option, it just depending on the luck to get 1 bitcoin. my suggestion is better you buy scrypt mining hardware to mining scrypt coins or buy vga cards and mining eth or etc rather than you mining bitcoin because the difficulty is so high than before. you can compare if you mining bitcoin, scrypt and eth and what will give you profit.

mine solo I think you are very lucky.  You will hit some blocks.


But basically it is just a feeling I have about you.

The sane thing would be mine in a pool.
