Yes, put all your capital investment in trading and then buy different altcoin which are in the top 10 listed at the coinmarketcap.com just choose among of them on which coins you are going to trade it, and then buy some bitcoin  then hold it for a long term. It really depends on where are you putting your money one. Because there are types of things that is good for investing and some are good for trading. Even in the stock market not all stocks are suited for investing some stocks are more suitable for short term plays which is counted as trading. That's why we have Order book so you can set the price you would like to buy/sell without check the price time to time but there are a cons about this when the price is keep pumping up, you would miss the big event to get huge profit.

I had the similar problem. I haven't succed with trading because this is actualy full time job if you want profit and success. You should be present on the market 24/7 otherwise this will not work. But, Did you use the stop limit feature on the exchange site? and looks like i don't need keep my eyes on it. The exchange feature will give the easy chance for use to do a trade.
