Trading is still the best You can both trade and invest( in a HODL term, long term investment)
as simple as that xD logical thinking xD..
Trading makes you also aware of cryptocommunity more than investing on hyip where you just gonna wait and earn.
In trading you'll start to search for info's of the coin you're  interested in which may lead you to another community too until you gain more knowledge.

In short there's a lot of benfits in trading hehe xD though the risk is still there if you'll be careless xD

i think you should try for trading, but not all in. make it a small amount for first then if you have understand, then you can trade with half amount or some amount of btc you want.

for investing, if you really curious, you have to find what kind investing do you want.

you should try both well at least we can see where your money will grow. you must separate it equally.
but based on my experience I invest. because for me investing is more secure and safe
and your money will grow even if your not doing anything but make sure that the bank or wherever you invest it must be trusted

You should do an assessment on your self first. Find whether you are capable to do trading or if you are just for investing because in trading you need skills and knowledge and in investing you need loyalty, you need to give your trust to the investment option that you enter.

It actually depends on how long you are willing to wait to see some profits. If you have the luxury of time and is willing to wait then long term investment is good for you as this requires waiting for a longer period of time. Besides there is lesser risk in long term investment than trading. But if you are not into waiting and likes the idea of frequent buying and selling then trading is the best option for you although it's quite risky and needs practice over time. You also must equip yourself with knowledge in trading because there are factors you have to consider if you want to enter the world of trading. But chances of gaining profits is also good like in long term investment. Either way, you have good chances of earning in both ways. You just have to determine which suits you best.

The two of that is good it is depend on the people who use it. It is depend on the strategy that the user did and where they are inclined of. Both of that can era a money and can help you. Also they are both lots of profits that can get and it is trusted and liable.

In my opinion, it is important to understand the concept of trading and investing. The moment you created this thread in 2016 then you have about 200 dollars of Bitcoin. If you still have that BTC, then I advise you to invest because trading it is very risky. If investing you just remember that experience is to buy low and sell high you will succeed.  

Trading or investing all need to buy low - sell high and of course, both are risky. But, for trading, you must to spend more time to trade than investing. Because most of the day trader do not fixed the plan as the normal investor, they usually change their move on the market.

I think if you have time and good instincts, trading is way better than investing. But if you a white collar worker, you don't have enough time (probably) to follow the market and make the right move at the right time. So in that case investing is better.

This is the main point that it is not easy and it is full of risk. It is hard to buy bitcoin and lose it in the gambling as you said people can earn even one bitcoin in one night but the point is either we can earn or lose in bitcoin, so if we will hold bitcoin we will earn profit and will be able to make the future secure even without lose because we know the bitcoin price is increasing and it will grow more in future.

If i'm in your situation, i will trade the half, and the other half will go for investments. But if you are bored of waiting to invest i will trade all the bitcoins to get money.

This is the best policy because it is good to invest and trade at the same time, relying on the trading only can make you get lose but if you will invest and trade in bitcoin you will surely have a lot of profit. It is not good to spend all money in trading it is risky and it is all about risk. If you are good at trading you will earn very high profit but if you will not invest your earning will be low.

 If you are a great trader than its better to trade than investing. It depends on what you mean. If you mean ICO than yeah trading is better than most ICO’s, if you mean casino, I think trading is still better. Investing is a more better than trading. But investing is a good one for me.

When you are trading no matter how short of a period of time you hold your wealth in a particular stock or altcoin you are still investing in that vehicle because you are still risking to lose All your money on that investment.

You can do investing and also trading at the same time. If you are going to invest your money in ICO then you should do a good research first to make things clear and after that then you can just trade it on the available exchanges and hope for the best with your trading. It is all about doing the best strategy to make things work.

I think much better if you will choose investing, because investing is for a long term profit, and also investing is just like trading, because if you are in trading you are still investing, but it  depends on a people if what is much better to them if trading or investing. Much better if you will wait a 1 year to get big profit by investing.

Currently I use both, this is because I believe that trading and investing is a good thing, with investing we need a longer time to profit than trading, for division 40% for trading and the rest for investing.
