how will you leave cloak behind, will we swap cloak for onec at some point now?

For now we only rebranding the name, but we also have some ideas about a some kind of ICO maybe.

Feel free to share you thoughts on this.

i would organize a swap to a new chain with same supply to leave all the dead cloak behind, this way those who kept following through all the pain remain with minimum same % of the network, then see what % gets exchanged and thos onecs that haven't got swapped could get sold in an ico or serve as development fund, or both. depending on the amount left it could be held in an escrow account from exchange till a certain date eg one market release to be ICOed out then.

edit: you could then also burn a small portion to reward those who believed in the project throughout with higher % of the network

Yes, I would inagine that you make a few tweaks to the code and gui and you are set.

I don't wanna sound like an ass (as I have been quite a lot in the mixed Cloak stories over the years).

Here are the positive sides:

-Rebranding is a great thing.
-Features like a truly anonymous coin are great.
-All the others things I am sure this coin will have in the future as the team delivers even if it's been a slow delivery imo.

Now the minus sides :

-Moving From tainted Cloak brand to something that remind the OneCoin scam does not seem greatly thought out.
-And that's pretty much all

So, its great to hear that the Dev took our advise and decided to rebrand
the name being associated with past ponzi scheme is regrettable but I think we can overcome it.

please correct me if I'm wrong, as I understand it, we will just tweak the wallet gui and rename it One Currency for now?
and in the near future the Devs will release a new coin with fresh chain and do a ICO where old CLOAK can be swapped with new ONEC?
