I think you missed your chance  on eBay for 2400 USD sale. I Watching ebay every week,   and never noticed this sale.

Last time preorder minimimum for A4  was 10 pieces and you forget the postage. To make today preorder  for 19- 20 000 USD must also be brainless. And my Titan Cubes  earning me money.

looking at $1,250 18 bids on a cube that he is not sure has 3 or 4 dies working due to controller death.. lol

sold by corporation to cover the KNC lawsuit at a loss on ebay ..the seller imho did not understand what he was selling....or so our theory goes)

yep was legit..the guy said 1 cube was bad..but all works full out ..both of them at 350mh just dandy...really were new ....so for $1750 bucks for a new knc titan

I agree completely..but the pool for Titans has dried up ..it seems.....the unicorn herd is thin here on bitcointalk and eBay...

trudging thru the ASIC jungles in the search for Unicorns is getting dang hard......perhaps with the A4's coming out you will have more options maybe...

my point being ..thus the silly price on Ebay etc....supply and demand don't ya know (also you can add clueless to that mix it seems)

The A4 miner pre-order is no guarantee of getting a miner. You take a chance with any pre-order that they don't fU. I give it a 50/50 chance. So if you want to gamble that a Chinese company won't FU, then pre-order.

The A4 miner pre-order is no guarantee of getting a miner. You take a chance with any pre-order that they don't fU. I give it a 50/50 chance. So if you want to gamble that a Chinese company won't FU, then pre-order.

I don't disagree (as the guy that will be getting likely under 3 batch sized units to me (to meet innsilicon batch miner sale) requirements..to move along to folk on the group buy.

.the money is wire xfered to innsilicon for the A4's...by the individual ....just the 3 units shipped to 1 address group buy requirement is left...(thus I stuck myself)

so on such pre-orders you ONLY have info of any note on their PREVIOUS conduct. Just saying don't send any money if you are not prepared to lose it. All pre-orders AT BEST are a
calculated risk. In the view of folk getting pre-orders of the A4 it is a 'calculated' risk that they believe they can live with in light of Innsilicon's past units the A2's

so anyway ..you take such a pre-order bet or not.....thus the fun wild wild west of asic's and crypto

then again BFL was the darling of the reviewers and the press in april 2013....with their 'demo units' ...but they did not ship till 0ct (small units) Nov (bigger units).

So yeah ...pre-orders are just that .....a shot in the dark....but hopefully with past deeds innsilicon on the A4's will come thru

But who knows how long ETH will be profitable. Really difficulty to beat Scrypt miners.

The old 7970/280X use almost 200watts each so Generally 1000 Watts is 100MH/s which is $7.50 per day.

The newer RX 480 / 1070 use almost half that so 1000 Watts would bring $15 per day.



How much does the Titan make? Like $15 using 1000 Watts?


The problem isn't POS which is like 6-9 months away. Its the Hard Fork which can fail and cause price to crash or the 30% difficulty increase every month. Scrypt is good because the difficulty never increases like BTC or ETH.

yeah....I had some cubes repaired...if I plan on doing anything it is 'mining' some dies back via repairs

but even that is probably just oranges to oranges at these LTC prices down the road

thou it does make a person feel better getting 1.5 worth of titan cubes back and fixed by lightfoot

BUT no enthusiasm for the A4 miners...they after more then 1 month have managed to get firmware that barely does 250mh out of the 280mh promised

Titan cubes (or repairs) are still much cheaper then an A4 at 1900 bucks with shipping at that speed.  The 45 day warranty does not inspire confidence either.

But we need scrypt coin and/or LTC to pump a lot to get too enthused for NEW scrypt equipment imho

If you can also buy Titan cubes at 300 bucks you are doing much better then anyone I know...cheapest I've seen are 600 a cube or for a titan 2.4K complete 4 cube

the prices for Titan equipment is way to high..so yeah...getting an A4 rather then a Titan would make sense in that manner..but getting either at these prices seems silly imho
