There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Maybe you should be careful to those who wants to scam you. I'd strongly recommend you to vouch the person you are going to transact fist before sending your BTC. Or even better, hire a trusted escrow that will assure you to have a successful transaction and not a scam one. I was like yo before offering to pay first and trusting people but I got scammed because of that. Anyways, it is just a suggestion. Its up to you if you are going to do it. Good luck Bro Smiley
