Buying bitcoin alternatives...

I signed up with Coinbase to buy some bitcoin and it is already day 4 and it is still in pending status. They are having problems. I can't afford to have such delays all the time and would like to know what other alternatives there are similar to coinbase? Obviously you can't outright purchase bitcoin with a credit card so that's why I added my bank account to coinbase to buy that way. Are there other places that allow you to add your bank account for funding to buy bitcoin right from the same place? I do like Coinbase because everything is right there and it is very easy and well priced but the delays are too much sometimes.
