I just visited the website and voted but can't see the results of the actual voting. Would be nice if the current voting results could be viewed. Will save this website anyway maybe I can take advantage of it.

That's not really how this works. It's more like "They want to get all the traders in so that the pump team has a chance to make some cash off the entire community." This is zero sum. There are many, many losing traders involved in altcoin pumping. |

0.5 BTC fund for a "group" is really low tbh. If the sum of all their money is just 0.5BTC, I doubt this "group" is really a group. A whale might even take advantage of their pump, stealing all the potential profit that they can get away. Also, people who are posting what coin they are "pumping" usually are just trying to make people buy coins where they had lost some money.
I know some group of traders that pump coins altogether. The coin they are pumping aren't publicized and they surely make money out of this strategy. They do pump and dump, basically.

But many fail very early on -- too early to get out. |

Interesting.
Just keep in mind that none of these people are doing this out of the good in their heart.
If they are giving away some information, they are gaining something from it, too.
I'm sure part of their plan involves people buying the coins that they promote.
They get in super low, you get in low, they sell while you buy. They make money off you buying the coin they advertise.
But you could still make some money with their information if you are smart about it, probably.

Good advice, don't trust in public pumping.
Don't be hyped by their overly positive announcement that it is easy and 100% secure profit from trading, because it is coordinated operation.
I have never seen good public pump group. It is always more of a hype and good intentions with more drama involved that you can possibly imagine.
Yeah, I've tried this in the early days but found that it was not worth it in the end. Plus I think it's also a bit dishonest to be completely fair. |
