Coup Plotting: A US Tradition

Stephen Lendman

Were US dirty hands involved in Friday's failed attempt to oust Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan from power?

Relations with Obama are strained. During Erdogan's March 31 - April 1 Nuclear Security Summit participation in Washington, no meeting between both leaders was scheduled, no White House invitation afforded.

He's more tolerated than welcome. Establishment organization Brookings invited him to speak.

Mayhem followed, his security guards making Washington look like Ankara, assaulting journalists covering his address, clashing with peaceful demonstrators outside the venue, protesting his crackdown on press freedom, other human rights abuses, war on Turkish Kurds and support for ISIS in Syria.

It's likely Washington prefers dealing with someone else in Ankara - whether enough to want Erdogan forcefully toppled isn't clear.

isn't the most straightforward thing to search for the person who benefits? in that case it's Erdogan. even if he didn't plan it he'll certainly benefit hugely from it.

anyone who thinks that another country (i.e. USA) was NOT involved in Friday's "incident" is simply a brainwashed fool.

Unfortunately I think something huge (in a bad way) will happen in the next 2-3 years. Especially with some many political tensions going on right now.

One thing to remember is that "another country (i.e. USA)" doesn't identify anyone.

Get out New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Phoenix phone books. Run your finger down the lists of people on every page. What percent of these millions of people had anything to do with anything in Friday's "incident?" Both, none and all.

If any of these people happened to take part, it was incidental. Yet they all had a finger in it through taxes.

People are dense. Both, people who think that the USA does anything, and those who pay taxes are dense.

It's a bunch of string pullers who control part of the money, that do these things in the name of the USA. They are often liars and cheats. Yet some of the things that they do are good for the world in general.

The point is, support them, or not. If you are in the USA and you don't want to pay taxes so you don't support them, learn and do this stuff - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twn96nj0jfw&list=PLHrkQxgz0mg6kUBciD-HIvTXByqjcIZ-D&index=10 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1512214.0.

If you are not in the USA, learn and teach it to your friends in the USA.

At first I wasn't taking anything serious what you said but the more i was reading, going through your links, the more i was realizing you were damn serious.

I'll agree with some parts of your statement, definitely not all.

Just because people are paying taxes doesn't get them involved, and trying to justify it with a statement "that those are involved because they ARE paying taxes" is just ridiculous.
