Hi all

I read this about weakness https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=153974.0 in current bitcoin system. I think a alternative maining program to satoshi code should be help that bitcoin protocol is not depended on just one software. Is it any plan to develop mining capability to Electrum ?

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Electrum still uses the official Bitcoind client for their servers. Mining using Electrum would mean mining with the Bitcoind client.

I don't think there are any plans to support mining.
