I wonder if

particular brain cells are like miners, and it takes 51% or them in coordination to keep integrity of memory/block-chain/consciousness.

Other cells store the blockchain

learning = transactions, minor block chain forks, and node/neuron efficiency upgrades eg more dendritic spines in optimal arrangement.

personality changes = forks in the blockchain

EDIT, you brain generates the blocks and coins over your life, but to a limit.
they are used for transactions the set down memories, that are ulocked by various key of neurological structures

You have a limit of coins the brain can generate, and like bit-coins you generate less over time and it gets harder, but you brain can do more with less

however, eventually the coins are lost as you neruo structure to unlock the coin from the memory block chain degrades.

i'm fond of memes.  vokain and i came up with this one a coupla months ago:

The Attack of the Ribosomes

Bitcoin is like a virus.  it mutates.  it has it's DNA represented by the blockchain.  and we, the community, are it's ribosomes that run up and down the chain crafting proteins for it's necessary functions.

^ like, I've been thinking about this for some time too. Guess Bitcoin is natural to us because our bodies work the same way at microscopic level, who knows. As I'm more tech inclined, I saw some resemblance with alternative currents where actually a spiral forms, exactly like the blockchain, not the senoidal wave we're used to see on an oscilloscope. Then I looked on the 21 bitcoin limit and the DNA spiral and came up the Golden spiral, also known as Fibonacci spiral. Quite fascinating and new concepts.
