Hey whats up guys, I'd like to start mining some feathercoins but I need help and have questions about getting setup.

I have my feather wallet setup and fully up to date with a .conf file with the following:

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.157
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=9337
server=1

I wasn't sure if I needed to add my computers IP or the local host IP so I added both and a 3rd allow exception for any local IP just in-case.

I'd like to use multiminer as my mining software but I've also downloaded nsgminer.

Has anyone used multiminer to mine Feather or any other Scrypt coins solo? What should the pool settings look like?

If I use nsgminer how would I even set it up for solo mining?

Also are there any special steps I need take to make sure my miner software is able to connect to the wallet software? Windows firewalls Exceptions/Router ports opened/ect...

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

feathercoin is not scrypt, second feathercoin can not be solo mined, it was disabled, for whatever reason, probably because there are hidden big private farm that were raping it, and now those are becoming pool to rape it again
