Whew, it was a chore editing that post.. lol. I fixed a couple of mistakes too, so the contest should be good to go! I don't particularly think there's any shame in self-bumping as long as you keep one consistent thread and don't clog the forum (I'm going to keep doing it until someone tell me not to haha) Anyway cool contest, will be participating!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

100 satoshis with 90% chance to earn isn't a good reward. If you increase the chance to earn 250, 500 and 750 satoshis it would be better for us. Another prizes like 1000, 5000, 10000, 50000 satoshis are almost impossible to get, and I understand it, because you can't support those very high prizes.
I totally understand what you're saying. I will most likely be adjusting these numbers in the near future (edit: JUST DID!), but the main "selling point" of my site is the chance to win a large amount of satoshi. So, I compare it more to gambling than just the usual faucet. I'm already seeing a large amount of unique visitors (almost 15,000 now) in only 5 days, so I want to keep the payouts the same for now. Why not participate in the contest!?  It's a win-win for faucet users! |

Great advice, but the contest is "somewhat" exclusive to bitcointalk. If they find out about it elsewhere, that's great. Actually... I put this thread's link near the site's title, so maybe they'll check it out  My main goal is to not only reward visitors, but also advertise as well. I have a feeling the site's Alexa ranking will hit close to 1,000,000 soon enough at this rate. Then I can finally add some other advertising systems on there and hopefully at least break even with losses/profits. Thanks all for the support! |
