I have a pretty early bitforce order (#7959 paid 9/12/12) that I'm thinking about ebaying.
The question:
If YOU were to order 3 ASIC units TODAY around the 60GH/S range, which one would you order from what company based on what criteria?

except avalon are expecting ppl to pay around 88BTC for gen 3 ($5,000) and took a break for a holiday before shipping batch 2 so delivery has been delayed past what they promised:(

I have 2 60 gh units on order from butterfly labs but would order an Avalon now because they have at least built a working unit. It's dragging on a long time with no real proof of success. I understand it takes time to build a new piece of tech but It should have been handled much better than it has been.

excuse my newbness but on the avalon site it says they arent taking pre-orders yet for b#3... even though batch 3 is meant to be ready in a week?? o_O how do I put my name down on 1 ?

I would highly suggest selling your pre-order. People that bought singles with BTC last year got screwed and missed out on the run up in the spot price. People gave BFL a ton of BTC and they are laughing.
But those ebay prices are going for insane amounts and it looks like you can make some of that loss back.

Batch 3 pre order is already finished Are you sure about that? Why did it never get announced? The only announcement I got was that they may not do batch #3. edit my bad: their website is bad, I didn't notice the buy now... |
