any plans to release an electrum wallet or a gui wallet for the audience?

They have a second miner on the pool
I hope some ETH miners see what is happening and switch to mining ETC.
If you want to mine ETC you don't need to go to the trouble of running geth and wait to sync.  You can just join a pool, change your bat argument and mine to a web based wallet like MyEtherWallet.com

MyEtherWallet.com now allows you to set the wallet to ETC or ETH

https://etc.nanopool.org
is nice and stable and have real good help info

https://etc.nanopool.org/help

ETC cant take much more hashrate before profitability plummets.
As we saw...  with this low price its less profitable than SHIFT when its hit with some power.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

12 miners so far... No counterattack, DDOS etc.. But we could invade forums & media with posts denouncing this attack. More shame on them means more interest on us.

Hey folks,

just a short heads up my US node crashed and my auto-restart script didn't catch it fast enough, so there was some loss of hashrate on the pool,
to compensate I've put fees to 0% and 20% bonus for the next 12h on https://etc.suprnova.cc

Script is now fixed, thanks for your understanding ! Smiley

Oh and BTW: why did noone tell me the ETH diff was still shown at some places, this is now fixed too Smiley

Nobody wants free coins?  Still some left...  Grab the Bonus

Bonus ended now, I'll start a new bonus round soon as there are still funds left from the first round.

Still 0% fee though, so hop in and mine for free.

I've bought over 1000 ETC for bonuses and still have about 650 left... next 20% bonus coming very soon, get your miners ready.

Now we see it again.

Hashrate down only 50 Gh/s from yesterday is enough to elevate ETC from 3rd most profitable to 1st.

If 50 more joins now, its down again.

Very sensitive.

ETC has no future. Is any smart-contracts on it? ETC without contracts useless.
