I am frankly surprised ETH is holding up as well as it is under this pressure. I saw someone on Polo calling it the ETHxit... But looks like it is holding up better than I would have expected so far. Hopefully ETC can carry this momentum higher. I would really love to see a mass exodus to ETC.

I still feel some ETC regret. I was watching the price a week ago when it was ~$0.50. I figured I enjoy mining more than trading so I would just rent some hashpower instead of buying 3-5 BTC worth outright. Woke up in the morning and it was over $2. Mistakes were made...

Same here. But it was and still is a gamble. I mean, it was not predictable if not large ETH-whales would dump their ETC's to damage the market. Or if ETH-pools wouldn't attack the chain with hash-power. And that's the plan - if it's still planned and it looks like that. There were and still are a lot of risks. So yes - a missed opportunity, but I won't touch ETH or ETC any time soon, most likely never.

and what does it mean ? Seems to me like there is nodes on the wrong network. Hard to say if its accidental or someone trying something. The nodes are dropping them, for now.

What's the current status of Lisk deposits to Polo?
Deposit / withdraw currently enabled Within 30 seconds of making this post, I will be selling a large quantity of Lisk at Polo. Any good coin needs wide distribution among many people, and not hoarding by whales and dolphins. A mass dump of Lisk coins to many buyers that have previously set their price in a fair and open market is a good thing! I still believe Lisk is going to da moon... just not this week, or even this month. I am not abandoning Lisk. I still believe in Lisk. I will continue to run my nodes on both mainnet and testnet. I will maintain my balance in mal_dapp_fund to continue to support Lisk software development. I still hope to become an Active Delegate at Lisk. I intend to allocate 20% of any forging rewards I earn to mal_dapp_fund at 16339383223344816582L and support further Lisk software development. However, I believe that Ethereum Classic has reached critical mass and is about to explode in price. I figure I have lost at least $20K just thinking about this overnight and not pulling the trigger yesterday. I hope to make a significant profit on ETC in the coming days and return to buy even more Lisk than I have now. When I return, I will buy my Lisk back (and more!) at an even higher price from those who bought it, and give those future Lisk sellers their profit from the pool of what I hope to make on ETC. Wish me luck! EDIT TO ADD: Bought 82795.7 ETC for 285.955 BTC at 0.003453742 each. At the current Polo USD/BTC rate of 623.74, I have purchased my ETC at $2.15 each. I posted what I have done here so there is no FUD. As we say here in the American South, "Dis jus' bidness". (This is just business.)

I really don't have time to follow all this fork saga, so let me better ask. What is a general consensus of the ETH devs? Will they support and take care of the ETC chain as well or this is out of question and ETC chain will have to find new devs?
It's amazing that most of these people have no grasp on even the basics of crypto and open source, I don't know how you get into trading crypto and not do your homework. This behavior will likely result in becoming a parrot of the pumpertits variety.

Don't worry, the new geth does that. It's checking that you have the right fork. When you first run geth it will say somthing like "this geth is set to appose fork" depending on how you set up your .bat file Just check the 7 digit number after the # is correct with the Non-fork Block Number here http://fork.ethstats.net/somthing like this #1990473 Mine checks for the new fork then drops it every 100 seconds or so because i choose not to fork
