If you can make that happen I would be forever grateful... The cheaper the better... Nice big panic dump would be great.  

As long as the FUD machine can keep holding the WHG theft, and the DAO hacker possible dump over the market they know people are going to shy away.  Add to that the funds we have been tracking a maze of funds  worth millions of ETC used to put sell pressure on the market... We fondly refer to this as manipulation.   We know it is happening, but now we have to wait it out.  What they should be worried about is the day they run out of ammunition...  

So we are celebrating any time we can put one or more of these FUD events behind us.... If the WHG theft return of funds is out of the way it is one less thing for the fear masters to beat ETC investors over the head with.  So the bigger the withdraw and sells the better... Get the weak hands out!

BTW, why do bitcointalk'ers always create panic around if the price goes up and down a bit? If there is a negative little percentage in the value of altcoin, they say "it's all going down the hill to zero", and if there is a positive little percentage in the value, people around say "it's going to beat bitcoin soon!". That is how the trading works.... It is all MOON or DOOM!  And you watch to see who is saying it... The same people want to influence you to buy and chase the market so they can sell into the pump.  The same people will yell SELL SELL and they have their short positions in place to make money on the way down.  Then they have their buy orders ready to snag it and they work a trading range of buys and sells.  The more turbulent they can make it the more money they make.  That is why you really have to ignore people that are all MOON or DOOM. 

That is why we ask the question.  Are you just in it for the trade or are you long?  If your in for the trade then it is a risky proposition with so much manipulation going on.  If your long then just be patient and look for the big sell off to buy more as we wait for the manipulation to run its course.  At this point there is waayyy to much going for ETC, the community is strong, lots of development and great things happening. 

This is a ground floor opportunity for those willing to take the risk, buy the dips, and ride out the storm.

You have to decide for yourself and make and own your decision.  Maybe you want someone else to decide so you can blame them if it does not go the the way you want?  Anyhow, it's like politics, full of FUD, manipulation and false truths. You have to make up your own mind.  Then if it goes wrong you can blame you!  Ask for advice and you ask your adversary to fill you up with FUD.

Anyhow, i have been sleeping, I broke a tooth and then took too many pain killers and then slept for too long.  I am so glad i was not driving.

Does anyone know how to seprate ETC from ETH chain or is ETC still using same formats and have to backup one in order to use another etc. If so then I propose an idea to make app data folders different for next wallet update so that it uses say ethc then to use ethereum

This project probably will not succeed on it's own. You guys are going to have to get out there and make the case. You are going to have to explain to everyone who will listen how this project represents a principle and a legal precedent so much greater than a single hack or individual hacks that are bound to happen.

I really hope it doesn't die. I loved the idea of ethereum. That idea is dead on the fork chain that everyone is blindly following. And its just a tiny little flame against the cold cold world here.

You cannot use a ETH 'geth' and a ETC 'geth' based wallet on the same machine.  
when you run 'geth' it will look for your chainstate and keystore.  
It will not care what side of the chain you are on it will just pick up your address and run with it.  
This is a sure way of getting replays.  You only need 'geth' for mining and smart contracting.

Why not use a 'geth' based wallet for one chain and a Light Client-Side Wallet for the other chain?  Then no worries

Use http://etherx.com/ to check your wallet is Vulnerable to Replay or  Immune from Replay.
Just enter your address in top right field

Thank you, people fear the Dao Hacker will dump.  Time will need to pass before people realise that it was either an inside job by the Foundation or....   The Hacker is now on the Classic side.   S/he does have 10%

But remember, s/he is among us.  It could be anyone! 

As for everyone blindly following the foundation, I fear people will lose again bigtime as the EF sure seem to screw up everything they touch.  Time will tell.

you mean one needs to explain what the centralizing of the world computer ETH means ? for everyone ? and for all generations to come ? and why ETC is so important to stop the slavery of all humans ? and i dont think i use too big words or blow up what is happening if ETH succeds imagin a world where a hand full of psychopats has all rights all means and  owns the world computer thats total power .

Price should not be used as a barometer for success or failure. In the case of ETC the hashing power is the main factor that will decide if it has succeeded or failed. I keep observing it here http://fork.ethstats.net/

It was below 500 GHS/s at one moment ago and I feared that it was the beginning of a big fall. But it rose back above it so we can relax for now.

There maybe some expert to tracking that can do it but it may reLly take time. I doubt if they can do find the criminals for they would have to turn a lot of stones to uncover them.

Also, if ETH haspower goes over 5000 GH/s i point some of my hashpower at them too, to push up their difficulty and make it harder for them to profit.
