Trading vs Gambling

Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing 

Im never considered that trading is a gambling also . But trading vs. gambling i will probably choose the trading even i can earn cents of bitcoin there and in gambling you could earn more profit there double or triple your bitcoin but not in the way of 100% of course there are chance that you could lose everything

That is an obvious answer for everyone, trading is more on the serious people who want to make money in the long term, gambling is just for fun and you cannot ensure you will make money because the odds always favors the house, they control the game while you are in control when trading.

gambling name is obvious: it is a game.

so you should treat it as a game too . not as an investment to make money and even if you treat it that way you have to test it first to realize that you were wrong before losing a lot of money.

the same goes with trading it is not easy, you should test that too at first to see if it can be profitable for you or not.

We y'all know that gambling is definitely a game , but there are some benefits that came into our life sometimes gambling for me is just a game of fun where i can make profit not daily nor weekly sometimes i get lost but sometimes i really win not that much at least i have a profit and stop playing i know my limits.

Good for you that you able to control your self  when playing gambling since most  of  gamblers or players on it  do became addict and  just  keep playing and playing   and  lossing  all their  money. Trading  and  Gambling  is  two different things even though they have the same  risk on lossing  up your money but in  gambling  you could  not guarantee yourself  to make  profits  in long run unlike in trading  that  you could  get profits when you trade in  smart way.

There is no assurance we can make profit in both because we need skills to be able to earn, but if you are a serious person and wants to focus in making money online you should focus on your venture that will give you more chance to earn and that is trading IMO.

I agree with you mate that unless you develop a skill needed for both gambling and trading to win and have your 100% focus in learning and applying them, then you are good to go. However, if you have very important day job, better no focus on gambling and trading is ok. The reason is that, in trading you can be able to open buy or sell order at any time while in gambling, you will need to be right on betting unless, you are doing very risky autobetting.

Well, i think trading is not as riskier as gambling. trading is a lot safer and predictable(if you have the knowledge). if i'll be given a choice to choose between trading and gambling(to make money), i'll always go with trading.

Well, i think trading is not as riskier as gambling. trading is a lot safer and predictable(if you have the knowledge). if i'll be given a choice to choose between trading and gambling(to make money), i'll always go with trading.

that is correct because in trading, you have somewhat more of control with your bankroll compared to gambling where everything is base on pure luck (except to few ones like poker and similar games that needs skills in order to win big) In trading, when you just teach your self how to properly trade and execute them, you will have greater chances of earning than losing that's like of gambling.

The only difference their is the juice on your winnings in sports betting as it is way higher which is mostly 10% of your winning bets compared to just 0.01% of the trading fees you will fee when you are trading.

when talking about problem gambling and trading, of course I prefer trading. Well, you're right, that requires experience and ability to play the trading for you to win, but in the overall gambling, you will not be able to use the knowledge and the ability to win, especially if you're playing dice. Well, if you're gambling on sports betting like a ball, you might be able to win with a long time, but I feel that trading is still more profitable than in gambling

Trading will always be good for expert traders. They usually earn even the market goes up or down. However, for those newcomers in the game, it would be very hard but this is not to say that there is no hope - there will always a way to become a good and expert trader and that way is to learn, study, and trade regularly -you win or learn

Trading will always be good for expert traders. They usually earn even the market goes up or down. However, for those newcomers in the game, it would be very hard but this is not to say that there is no hope - there will always a way to become a good and expert trader and that way is to learn, study, and trade regularly -you win or learn

The only way to become a good trader or an expert trader is by doing trades. You cannot be an expert just by reading books or watching tutorials. You need to risk it first at your first few months, and once you get the hang of it, you will be earning better thru trading.

They are just the same in terms of the risk that you may get upon doing both. But trading has lesser risk rather than with gambling and I think most of the traders do gamble because they can just easily take the risk lightly with their trades. And for those trader who are not playing gambling games doesn't want to risk the profit they took from trading.

They are just the same in terms of the risk that you may get upon doing both. But trading has lesser risk rather than with gambling and I think most of the traders do gamble because they can just easily take the risk lightly with their trades. And for those trader who are not playing gambling games doesn't want to risk the profit they took from trading.

Aside from trading has less risk than gambling, we tend to have more control on trading especially the amount of trades and up to certain limits after we finally decide what position we take based on our fundamental and technical analysis. In gambling, there is no such that.

I am not so sure that there's a high probability to make a profit from gambling it is just a 50/50 chance that you can earn from gambling but most of the time losing is the only outcome. in trading maybe it can profitable but only for those who already has a knowledge about it also skill is a must in order for us to not having a hard time while we are dealing with it whether it is alt coin trading or only bitcoin trading. but still i will much prefer trading that gambling.

yes its true but gambling have high risk than trading and in trading we don't loss all like in gambling, its only change the form into other form but in gambling, once we loss from the games, then our money is really gone and maybe could not come back like before.

Exactly, because of making money is easy in trading than gambling. But many gamblers like gambling, and all traders like trading, So it is a different between each other, also it depend on our choice. But in trading and gambling both are risky to making money, it is not a easy way to earning wise. But enjoyment wise gambling is good, otherwise in trading we need experienced man.
