it came from 400 to 800 really fast, so chill... a little consolidation is normal.

Yeah and its really good to see price stable at a moment even after the halving, as it was predicted that price will go $600 after the halving but it didn't happen.

Time... we need time, it doesn't happen in 1 second, 1 day, 1 week or a month after the halving. It takes a while, first of all we need more people buying BTC. And this will happen soon, because even I found out about the halving this year late (two days before it took place). Don't expect a rise to $10k in a week Cheesy

yeah i also notice that the price are still at level 600 value.. but the price of bitcoin right now is still stable at this level..
I feel the price will be the same as last year we will see the price again will increase on november to december..  just like past 2015.

This always happened, we always have a higher price during holidays. I guess it's because that's the time when we buy & sell our BTC most of the time.. We'll see a slight increase this winter, but the sad thing is that it's always falling after winter goes Sad

Yes the price is same after halving. But halving mainly affected to miners who are mining bitcoin, not for the people who are buying bitcoin and selling bitcoins, still there is a chance to increase in the price.

So how come that the halving block reward happened two weeks (almost) ago and the price still didn't place , there is no increase and It seem pretty stable ?

Did you not notice the price rallying for months approaching the halving? You are not the only one who expected the price to rise. Cheesy

Yeah it seems good that price is stable now after halving, and it will increase in the last months of this year. And some people predicted that price was decrease after halving but it was not happened so it is very good for users of bitcoin.

The buildup to the Halving event, were the phase you had to watch and not the fallout after the event. I even predicted a huge decline in the price, if the buildup were stronger and loads of people

dumped prior to the event. The buildup were the "hype" phase where speculators were driving the price upwards to make a big profit with the dump phase... but the dumping never happened. The

price were too low for people to dump. We should be lucky that the price did not reach the $1000 to $2000 price range, because a lot of people would have dumped at these levels.  Sad

Yeah everyone is hoping to see higher price at the end of the year and that is the reason people are not selling their coins at a moment as everyone is looking for higher profits.

I'm starting to think that the Darknet is the only thing that keeps Bitcoin from collapsing as everyone is keeping their coins and only the DARKNET marketplaces users are the one who are buying and spending .

I don't understand how people think something very predictable has instant effect on value.
People have seen this coming since literally the start.

In my fair opinion price has nothing to do with halving all that was hype. Halving assures one thing that price after all cost of mining should not be under 380 $ approximately. If we look at the price now we are still very high than these bottom price. I will be much more happy seeing price stable at around 650$ than any temporary increase.

yes and that s the beauty of bitcoin i think. for me i think the most important thing is that the bitcoin rate should remain constant. which is the proof of stable bitcoin. it is is stable because people are still interested in bitcoin.

Expecting price increase in suffocated network is nothing but a delusion. If it continues that way, we can welcome ~200 USD and in the same time Ethereum around 50 USD which will mean Ethereum would be on the throne. Could happen in timespan of one month if you ask me.
