I have noticed that some folks have highlighted IGNORE buttons.

What do those colrs mean?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

What do those colrs mean?

The darker the yellow color behind the Ignore, the larger the number of people who have put them on ignore.

It's a way for you to see that lots of people are already ignoring them.

That some people put them in ignore. Pretty meaningless, a bunch of trolls can put a user in ignore and his button would become highlighted but this would mean nothing, only that like ten ppl have him in ignore

This is not true.

The ignore button color only changes when "established" users ignore someone.

"Established" users are defined as:

  • You have 100+ hours of online time
  • You have 100+ posts
  • You registered 30+ days ago

Then it requires 0.35% of all established users to ignore you before you even get the light yellow color.
