The first site I used was satoshimines and it took seconds to understand it, and a bit longer to understand the cryptography/hashing side of things, after that I went to dice and that's where I lost the majority of my money. I learned a few more gambling things along the way such as blackjack, baccarat, roulette, slots, ect. Still have no idea how to play poker. Sometimes I wish I took the advice of everyone and just never gambled.

Gambling is not working different than other prohibited things for under aged people. There are lot of things which normally are forbidden to sell to under 18 but sellers don't care. Gambling is same where lot of teenagers try to make some bucks and now specially on online gambling sites with digital currencies like bitcoin is much more easy for people under age to have access without any restriction. Of course those people are gambling which should stay away.

Yeah I know some players who are very active on online gambling sites, some of them are my friends and I said this so many time to them gambling is not good for their future, but they are making very easy money so it is very hard for them to understand how it will ruin their future when they will get addicted.

It is true. People mostly like to try first which either banned or made difficult to reach. Gambling also same, it is not only banned for kids but in most of the countries, it is prohibited for everyone still you can find many people gamble. Now because of bitcoins is has become easy for everyone to gamble from their PC or with mobile phone anonymously.

Yes. I don't know what about BTC, but I have seen A LOT of kids gambling on CS:GO. I'm talking about 8-9 year old kids, which don't even know what money really is.

It's fun for all ages, but it depends.. I mean it's not fun anymore when you gamble with all your parents money and loose all lol

Kids ? Bitcointalk is not a place for children anyway. This is a gambling and business/bitcoin forum. Not a kiddie forum. Why any child would gamble is beyond me. If you a kid be a kid you will have plenty time later to ruin your life gambling xP

In this 21st century, even kids have access to internet, and even the 18 you suggested is even too much for the exposure this days as there is no control whatsoever to confirm if I'm truly 18 or not just a confirmation and that's it. So its not impossible to have below 18yrs before gambling. In short its not only gambling we should be concerned about but other social vices like cyber crime , ponography etc.., my 2 cents...

I hope e that it isn't so. This is no place for children. Also people drink and maybe abuse drugs even a legal drug. Then the child will see and follow tondo the same. Now what ? We have a big problem if the kids just gamble and drink. Then they will smoke too and want to spend their money like adults so they take the lessons of an adult. A kid is small one. Adlut is grown up. No need to explain more I feel.

Children in my country do not know about dice , gambling is often  in soccer and poker  I even lost while playing poker against a child 10 years
it really is a shame  My mistake was to underestimate him I think he did not resist when I put all the money on the table but in fact he was involved in the game and win I do not want to repeat that mistake.

Of course kids under 18 years gamble. If they do it on some site it may be profitable to them and let them increase that amount of money that their parents give them as pocket money haha. But, I remember when I was a kid we also made some little bets on cards games that we played with classmates and playing with Pokemon chips.

I gambled in local bars and saloons when I was under 18 years old. Mostly wasting my time on Slot machines.
And apparently owners of these clubs didn't care about kids playing because they never throw me out despite it was clearly illegal to let children play.

I don't know if people of the age under 18 gamble online or not but I am guessing they do especially with bitcoin which makes this thing very easy for who want to gamble anonymously without revealing any of his data. In my country Serbia I have seen a lot of kids or teens playing lottosport thats how we call the sports betting in here and no one cares about their age. Owners of these lottosport shops just want the money and they don't really care if people who place bets are in the age under 18 or not. In land casinos in my country you cannot enter if you don't show your ID so it's not possible to play physical slot machines here if you are not at least 18 and in some cities even 21.

I used to make football bets when i was in high school and it was forbidden for kids to bet who below 18, and it still is. Yet, more and more kids are addicted to make bets in such young ages.


That's because TVshows them rich people eveyday, and they look at their poor family and they search ways to become rich fast. Then they decide to gamble. Luckily i wasn't that dumb and my family wasn't that poor so i abandoned that shit quickly. But i know some of my friends are still gambling with the hopes of getting rich one day. Sad.

I know for sure it's not possible in France.
You can't because when registering and withdrawing funds you need to send the credit card and the ID of someone 18 or higher, so unless you still the one of your parents you can't :/

I don't doubt it at all that there are people who are under age that gamble on their parents internet and computer. They use their credit cards to purchase apps from the Apple store so why not on a gambling website. Don't underestimate what kids are capable now a days as someone has mentioned already.

Even people who aren't allowed to gamble in their own countries manage to get on those sites and do it anyways, so why not theses kids who are age restricted

It's been a long time since I played online poker or things like that (things like Full Tilt/Pokerstars), but I always had my ID verified for deposit/withdrawal. I imagine you can't play if you are under 18.

From what I know most bitcoiners are around 35. Seems complicated to me to find btc before you're 18...

I don't think we can find any players under 18 in real casinos, but I can assure you that you can find them everywhere around you when it comes to virtual gambling. They are here, and they are anonymous. You can never find out if a player is or isn't over 18. I have seen even 13 year old traders.. so nothing impresses me right now.

Well i had made bets under my brother betwin account when i had 17 years old, but the money involved were mine i just asked him to make the deposit as i couldnt. I dont see any problem as long the ammount invested by those is controled by fathers or family.

I agree with you, as long as the parents know that they are gambling and how much they are gambling I believe it is ok, most parents would know how to make gambling not addicting and not as money drenching to their kids as a free, addicted, adult.
