registered here so that I have the option of bidding in auctions.  I'm also checking out BTC-TC and BitFunder for the passthrough shares.  Ultimately Friedcat determines who owns the shares, right?  For auction transactions will he verify the seller owns shares via PM prior to bidding?

He will verify on request; it's safe to use escrow just in case though.
