I think they are more like burning them and providing with a fresh set of coins from newer blockchains if I'm correct.
Exchange deposit will eventually swap them as well. So no need to worry about that.

I hope so. for android wallet also not able to make the transaction. hopefully faster to fix the exchange and update the latest wallet

unfortunately with yobit we needed to wait for them to update the wallet before we can withdraw the coin.
