I need to know exactly what I must do to purchase bitcoins.  I have a "wallet".  I have the funds with which to purchase them.  I can use MoneyPak, debit/credit card, do a wire transfer or cash deposit.
Which exchanges accept MoneyPak?
Which accept debit/credit cards?
To whom would a wire transfer be sent, and under what account number would I be sending the money?
As for cash deposits, several websites stated that cash deposits for Bitcoins were done at Bank of America; however when I went to our local branch, nobody there even knew what bitcoins are. The issue I am having is that nobody actually explains the process of the deposit.  "Go to the bank and make a deposit" is not an explanation, especially when I don't even use a bank.
So, what are my options?  I do NOT want to see "I think" or "I've heard" or "So-and-So might", or ANYTHING other than: "Here are your options."

Option 1. Wire your funds to bitstamp.net, buy BTC there, withdraw BTC to your local heavily encrypted wallet.

I hope this helps.
