I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I have a long password similar to 3730473hdpebGKFVIG74939478292!(78hjdjfjevwjskGVJGG//7/;/#'6(9/*'+83)+9ywbsbGIGVJ78569GIGOJFSI but when I copy and paste it half the time it works and half the time it doesn't. There's no rhyme or reason to it. I haven't been able to log in for weeks now because it just flat out wouldn't work. To my surprise today it worked first try.

Naturally I thought, ok I'll shorten it I guess. Make it easier to remember and just risk having a less secure password. The problem? The password that I JUST copy and pasted now isn't working. I literally had it copied on the clipboard and it didn't work. What?!

Is this just me? I'm on the mobile phone but I made sure nothing was auto corrected (like a capital at the beginning of a password when there shouldn't be one).

Any suggestions? (apart from the obvious 'make sure there's no space at the end, make sure it's the right password, make sure there's no capital letter at the beginning of the password, is your phone turned on?' etc.)

I didn't forget my password. It's typed out so I can't forget it! What is going on?! This is the only website I have a problem with.

This is just a pure guess, but why don't you try copy pasting your password on some kind of text file (whatever your phone have) and see if they match? Apparently iOS 9 have some kind of issue with pasting previous copied text instead of the new one. Don't know about any other phones.

Used to happen to me as well.Figured out,it was a space that I was adding extra ,let me guess, you have your password stored on notepad. When you copy you won't realize but that space will always be there alongside the last character. After copying the password more carefully, worked for me.

This is the only website I have a problem with.

Do you normally use 93-character-long, randomly generated passphrases for your other websites (that you also have to copy and paste every time you want to login)?

Get a password manager.

get hacked once and lose everything.... uh i dont know if a password manager is a good idea at all :S

Look at one that requires a physical token.  I personally like Yubikey's I showed them  being used for blockchain.info before - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1353231.0

But there are password managers that use them.   Then you need a regular password for password manager and also to physically press a button on a Yubikey.  So you have 2 factor security if using password + Yubikey. You have to be there in person it can't be activated remotely as you have to press button.

Look at the max password length on this website and shorten the password you paste in to match that. I had a similar issue with this.

I never did figure out what the problem was but whatever. I had to reset my password again. Maybe it's just me lol. I'd have to assume it was anyways.
