These look absolutely perfect for what I was wanting to do, pay my employees small bonuses in bitcoin.

I didn't see an order link, are they available for purchase yet?

They will be available for purchase today, credit card payments. But you can pay them with bitcoins now and get some discount Smiley

Design looks nice, but the card value should be denominated in BTC, not dollars.
+1. Design is beautiful, but unless you're preparing a system where the cards are essentially prepaid cards to deposit money in an exchange, denominating in BTC is much easier for the end user.

Whitelisted to post elsewhere. *hint - Project Dev / Marketplace / Bitcoin Discussion depending on what kind of thread you want to make*

that's a scratch-off card, code is at the back... card can be redeemed for bitcoins at giftcoins.me

if you have $200 card for example it will always worth $200, bitcoins value depends on the day you decide to redeem it

First reseller will start selling codes online today, I'll keep you posted

Payment with credit cards Smiley

And this will be the fastest way to get bitcoins, 15sec to make card purchase and then 2-3min for bitcoins to show up in your wallet

looks completely awesome. what is the margin for the seller? will they be available in canada?

not really sure why would someone who doesn't know what bitcoins are buy such a card? What are chances for that happening? Smiley

Maybe someone wants to introduce someone else to bitcoins by sending them a gift card in the mail?

discounts we are able to give resellers are 2-6%, depends on volume and on top of that we advise resellers to be free to add few % on top
I believe you can easily make 8% profit easily

I sure hope they will be available worldwide, already after just one day we have few potential offline resellers in US. Soon we will post all resellers on our site.

So if a supermarket sells these and a customer does a credit card chargeback who wears the loss?? Supermarket I guess

I see that great number of people doesn't understand how processing works and how merchants can protect themselves.

If a chargeback occurs seller will loose money, this is obvious, in your case supermarket.

here is short explanation, basic stuff how things work and what's happening in real life

70% of chargebacks (85% of those come from US) are purposely made ones, people claim that they did not buy the stuff, that they dont recognize transactions...they are mostly made fraudulently by CC owners just to get stuff for free. All blame is then put to merchant/seller which will have direct loss, here it makes no difference what you are selling, bitcoins or socks, merchants almost never fight back as the process is too long and complicated...

VISA and Mastercard then came up with 3D Secure for online purchases (card not present), once online store has 3D secure integrated in their system all fraud blame is shifted only to Credit Card issuing bank, it's simple as that. It doesn't matter if customers card is 3D secure or not, result is the same, bank which issued that card is responsible for all fraud or loss that happen by using this card. No exceptions.

Here is real live example, you have 3D secure VISA card (90% of all cards are enrolled), you went to site selling giftcoins cards, once you enter all usual CC info you will be redirected to your bank site to confirm your purchase with password only you know. If all checks out transaction is approved and you get your giftcoins card. Later if you decide to do false claim bank has info that you approved this and won't even consider trying to do chargeback.
If the card is stolen and 3D secure enabled, person will try to make a charge but it will not know 3D secure pass and transaction will be declined.
If the card is not 3D secure or it has it but customer didn't activate it. This is again bank fault for not educating customer about it and again bank has to cover the cost of fraud.

Paying for giftcoins cards with credit card in real live, you have to sign the slip or authorize by PIN, but here is no difference what you bought, once you take any goods and leave that store door it's over.

you can easily google more info about 3D secure, verified by VISA or Mastercard secure code

you are going too far with this one Smiley

They you can also say that someone can sell cards for cash, you meet up in person with someone and they kick your ass and steal this from you lol
there are million scenarios that can happen all this only because of minority of people that like to steal and get something for nothing.

there are million scenarios that can happen all this only because of minority of people that like to steal and get something for nothing.

I see you are noob to Bitcoin then Wink. Those type of scenarios thrive in this petri dish we call Bitcoin. I'm not here to rain on anyone's parade and will probably be buying a few of these from you but  Sgt. Spike and I have been in this game for awhile and have seen many, many people come through claiming things that just aren't true. The person selling these giftcards are liable for chargebacks when someone purchases them. That isn't going to far! that is just being honest!

I purchased a $100 card from Jagoo (which costs $109.90).  The website made me use that special password OP was talking about that VISA does.  Btw I hate that special password thing because I only have to use it like once a year I have to reset the password every time.

Anyways, Once I made payment I instantly received the email with the confirmation code.

This step needs improvement - at no point in time was I ever told from jagoo, or in the email, or in item description, what website I needed to go to to redeem my code.

Since im smart, and I was reading this thread, I was able to figure it out.

I redeemed my code at giftcoins.me using the email confirmation option.  Here is the error that I received at your website.

Even though I received an error, I still received my email confirmation instantly, and then 2 to 3 minutes later I got the pop up from my bitcoin wallet that there was an incoming transaction. I am in the middle of receiving 1.3556116 for $109.90 paid.  Mtgox last price shows $64.1647, so looks like everyone involved is getting a nice percentage.

This is by far the fastest and easiest way to buy BTC that I have seen.

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.

That's nice.

Think about how many people will buy bitcoins from the street shops.

Ok I think I misunderstood. I was thinking I could order physical gift cards with bitcoin codes/redemption instructions embedded in them to give as gifts. Is this possible?

Love the idea. Good luck with this.
